I believe these gag strips out of #5 are the only original material in the Classics Digests besides those excellent covers.

Hope some of you enjoy them.

The funny thing is, I never knew that Bellybomb was ever seen in Archie again, even if it is in a gag page.

I recall the third image and the last image being in TMNT Adventures single issues, but the rest are new to me.

I've seen the Saki at Pizza Bell and The "Foot" Soldiers...the others are, as Spengs says, new to me.

Its funny how these gag pages make Krang look like a major character in Archie, when in fact he was barely in the series at all.

IMO, Krang's shadow always loomed large over the Archie-verse, much like Shredder's legacy cast a dark shadow over the Mirage-verse.

Aside from Malinga being from Dimension X (I think), Krang's influence pretty much dropped immediately.

Shredder at least re-appeared from time to time, even if even he was barely seen.

I like how Leo went in and sliced up the calf brain thinking it was Krang; pretty hardcore if ya think about it! :D

Hey!

Does anyone know where exactly these gag pages come from in the very beginning? Was it some kind of special issue or was it just a part of Classics Digest or any of TMNTA? And how many of these Gary's gag pages exist in total?
