wow, crazy....the second printing hasn't even touched our hands, has it?I know you told us there was a second printing but I mean that one hasn't been released yet and here we are already with a third printing, right?
I guess there is but one word that is capable of summing up our emotions about this....ahem:cowaaaaaaabuungaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Wow. I'm very excited that any turtles comic has gotten a third printing.

Diggin' the green logo, too. I'd love to see it used on the regular covers.

I am beyond happy to hear that the book is doing well. I feel optimistic that that tmnt have the legs to stick around for a long, long time. Just like the Marvel/Dc boy's and gal's.

Well, there's actually advertising for this book. I bet half of them didn't even know that Turtles books were out right before the Nick sale.

IDW is the best thing to happen to the turtles comics in years.

I might buy the covers of new printings. But will not buy if they are black and white variants of the existing covers, or such stuff.
They shall probably be inside the TPBs also.

I waited far to long for #2. By the time I got to the comic store it was long sold out. Superman #1 though was still there, so I got it :)

I remember seeing a photo (can't recall where) of the second printing and it was the same art, however the Turtles logo was red. Could be wrong.

If there were new covers and art for new printings, i guess they would have been shown it/them till now.

That is the cover to 2nd printing yeah.
I was not goign to buy this to be honest.
But when i woke up a few min. ago, i looked at the website of the shop i buy my stuff, it was updated cause of Wednesday.
The 2nd issue's Kevin Eastman Retailer Incentive cover had come into stock ( or just 1 copy )
I really needed that one , added it to cart. I was thinking if i should buy that sketch covered reprint of issue 1 but then i said whatr the heck it is Eastman and since i only owned the colored version, this one is different anyway, so i bought it as well.

there is no sign of the 2nd printing of issue 2 tho at my shop ( Tho Midtown Comics shows it as in stock... but no image of cover is uploaded for that one )
I wonder if it is the sketch version of second issue's Eastman RI cover.

actually the turtles logo has always been read on any cover, variant or normal, up to this point..so the only difference between first printing and reprint of the first issue should be that there is non color whatsoever;)...just the inks and the red logo...

The second printing was just inks and the red logo... The third printing is just inks and green logo, check out the picture in Tom's post... I know what it looks like, I'd just like a scan of the cover... Catch my drift?

I'm totally not being a smartass when I suggest this, but since it seems there isn't one yet, why not whip one up in PS by changing the logo colors?

I like the green better than the red. I have #1 pre-ordered, hopefully some for #2 will pop up soon. Do you think we will see a 4th printing for #1, or is it too late??

According to Richs (http://www.tmnt-ninjaturtles.com/blog/) blog it looks like issue twos second and third printing should be out or coming out very soon. Does anyone know what the second or third printing of issue 2 looks like or have an online source for purchase?

There are many BINs on eBay for the second and third printings (none for 3rd of #2 yet) for cover cost + shipping. You can probably find a seller with all 3 and save on shipping.

Thanks, I just glanced at it and for some reason my minds eye saw issue 1.

Rose, So issue 2 has 1 printing released so far? That would explain why I cant find any of the 2nd or 3rd printings for sale.:P

The 2nd printing of issue #2 is out.....I got one on eBay and it showed up already. I believe the 3rd printing of #1 comes out tomorrow.

The second printing of #2 came out last week. Third printing of #1 comes out tomorrow, then third printing of #2 hits next week.
