Or Samhain, whichever you prefer. ;)

Alrighty, just a couple weeks before Halloween. What's everyone up to for the festivities?

I love love LOVE Halloween... We've got a Lot of haunted tours throughout the seacoast (cuz it's so old), there's ghost story readings, there's people who like to do the whole 'photography in the cemetery' thing... we even have people who dress as zombies and invade downtown once in a while. Haunted houses, Hay Rides, Pumpkin festivals... there's so much that goes on every year.

Anyone got any good local ghost stories to share? Or a good costume to share?

Family's going away for Halloween, so it'll be just myself. I'm carving a pumpkin and handing out candy for the kids this year.

Lol.

If you can't tell from my username, Halloween is my favorite holiday. Love it. The smell in the air, the trees changing, candy. Having horror movie marathons is tradition in my house. With John Caprenter's 1978 Halloween saved for the night of the 31st!:D

not too sure. I wanna dress up at work if i work that day, other wise, it's my Dad's birthday, so taking him out for supper is high priority

Pretty much doing nothing like every year. Definitely going to eat Halloween candy since we don't get any trick-or-treaters at our place. Halloween was better when I was younger. Now, it just isn't fun anymore. Then again, I'm just not big on holidays in general.

No plans as of yet. Maybe I'll just hang with some buds if anything comes up.

I'll do my usual handing out candy to the trick or treaters.

Also, I have an all-black female cat, but she's not friendly and stays indoors. (But then, if you have a cat, keeep it indoors on Halloween anyway.)

I work during the day so I definitely dress up for that...although I'm not really sure what I'm going to be this year. I have a pair novelty contact lenses that I'll probably build a costume around. Then at night it's going to be the usual take the nephew out routine. I just hope it's not as friggin cold as it was last year!

I will most likely be in a costume at Halloween

Gonna go to a concert called Zombieland in which admission is half off if dressed as a Zombie on Saturday, relax and rest on Sunday and hand out candy to smal children on Monday until 8 pm then go to another party as either a Zombie again, Robert Smith, Casey Jones or Rocky Balboa. Either way pretty stoked.

Well, we're currently under 6 inches of snow, and more is coming down. We got our pumpkins carved, and we're contemplating a snowman with a skull and bony arms..

Yeah I know I can't believe it! I've never in my life experienced snow just before Halloween.
