Let me start off with saying hi to all, I have been collecting the original teenage mutant ninja turtles series since 1993 or 1994, I'm a very serious collector and played with turtles as a kid and guess I could never get away from it, I collect tmnt from 88-97, I also collect Master of the Universe, I currently have a very large collection and try to get as much of it graded as I can, I will be slowly posting pics of my colletion over time, I have lots of graded and ungraded figures and takes alot of time to pull figures out an take pics, let me say I'm always looking to buy tmnt moc any size or amount , so take a look and hope you enjoy, Scott

Nice, but no collection is complete without Krang, April, and a Foot Soldier. I just like to keep thinking to myself, "Why can't I go back in time just to snag some figures on the clearance rack or on eBay in the late '90s/early '00s when the MOC figures were cheaper?"

I eventually hope to post my collection soon as I basically started from scratch just several months ago and now have quite an expanding collection. I still don't have any MOC figures as I want to get the figures for cheap and focus more money on some rarer comics/figures and other items I collect.

Of course I like 85 and above, but turtles are very hard to get high grades, it seems like most turtles are 70-80 especailly in the 92 and up, and if the item is rare, the condition doesnt matter, its just the fact that you have it, but I like 85's, I chase all 85's in MOTU Figures too,

I know what you mean first hand. I got my hands on a sealed case of 25th anniversary figures. The sealed case itself was perfect condition no damage whatsoever. The figures in side were far from perfect.

I do however have a case fresh Fan Club Flyer Soft Head Michaelangelo. The card is unpunched with not a crease, dent, ding, paint chip, or imperfection in sight. Ditto with the bubble. I have exteme OCD and can pick apart perfection and the only thing I can find on my figure is extremely minute bubble rub/scuffs. Bubble rub was present on all of the figures that were very first released. In the first few shipments the figures were not packed with tissue paper that separates the bubbles like in later shipments.

Even so the seller how has handled thousands of TMNT figures said that he has never seen a figure in such amazing condition and knows he will never see one again.

I would get that sucker graded but it came from a sealed case straight to my hands. I wouldnt want anyone else handling it. So it will forever remain in my zolo case ungraded.

I have been collecting on and off since 93 or 94, about 6 or 7 years ago I started collecting more steady, I collect most figures from 88-97, but do have some newer ones too, but always drawn to the original toy line, I collect and buy in multiples, I'm a very serious collector who thinks tmnt are awesome. My kids play with the loose tmnt and motu I have. I like to see them play with things from when I was little.

The manager at my LCS uses old episodes of the Turtles to keep his little girl calm (I dont think shes quite 1 yet). It's the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.

It is ok Jester. I live in Houston the 4th largest city in America and we have no toy show and our only comic show once a year is really bad with only a handful of dealers sell toys

I like that kind of stuff, I buy cells here and there, but have nothing special, but don't know enough about those kinds of things, so always afraid buying things I know very little about, plus not enough room for more collections lol, but I really enjoy seeing everybody's elses, Seeing everybody's comics make me want comics, lol, I collect comics but mainly just amazing spiderman, Thanks for the question, Everybody has such neat stuff,

Great question, and thank you, well they both got 80's, the figures get a very low grade, both of mine have sub grades of card 85 bubble 85 and figure 75, so I guess it makes it an AFA 80, funny thing is my one has poor red paint the other poor black paint, but they are an awesome looking figure, Thanks for looking

Yes all the teenage mutant ninja turtles are all graded from AFA (Action Figure Authority) they put it in a plastic case and grade it with a grade and everything is in my collection, Its nice to have the stuff graded because keeps it safe, keeps it in the same condition and makes the figures look nice. As for the ooze AFA will grade everything, they are sealed and graded AFA90

I have a 10x20 room I closed all windows off and installed shelves on the walls, last set I need to work on installing better lighting for better pics, My other wall has MOTU, still have to maybe install a few more shelves on the remaining wall because I need more space, but thanks for looking

Even if you could I would imagine they would grade terribly since theyre outer shipping boxes and I've never seen one that didn't look like it went through hell and back.

I actually graded 2 sealed cases I bought, it was very neat to find them, that's where all my u grade tmnt came from, but archon turtle is right the cases were beat I had 2 or 3 figures that wouldn't grade, then the rest graded from 70 to 85, I had one 90, the other problem w cases is how the factory packed them, they usually always get a small crease above the bubble, easily seen on the back of the card, they are packed so tight, so if there is damage to the outside of the factory case will def be damage on the inside, my cases were a complete suprise some 10 backs but figures from 1988 to 1990 a misc assortment, very strange, but they are all graded and in my collection, I traded some to a friend but was a very awesome find

Thanks, but I got 2 sealed cases and both off ebay, as for the figures I got like I said just a misc batch, 10 back Mike, Leo, Don, Raph, Mondo Gecko, Panda Khan, Krang, General Traag, Usagi Yojimbo, Wingnut, Muckman, Metalhead, Leo Sewer Samuri, Casey Jones and Baxter Stockman. Might be a few others that I couldnt think of but to get the U grade from AFA the cases must be sent sealed so the sad thing I didnt get to see the figures until after they got back to me, It would be awesome to find some more, Hopefully someday, and like I said before the box had some outside damage and thats why I ended up with alot of bubble damage, Most TMNT cards have the crease so thats the next problem finding high grade stuff, but will continue my search for more cases, Thanks for the question,

The purple ooze got a 90 grade, so not cased and you can't touch it

Let me start off with saying hi to all, I have been collecting the original teenage mutant ninja turtles series since 1993 or 1994, I'm a very serious collector and played with turtles as a kid and guess I could never get away from it, I collect tmnt from 88-97, I also collect Master of the Universe, I currently have a very large collection and try to get as much of it graded as I can, I will be slowly posting pics of my colletion over time, I have lots of graded and ungraded figures and takes alot of time to pull figures out an take pics, let me say I'm always looking to buy tmnt moc any size or amount , so take a look and hope you enjoy, Scott

Im happy to hear the figures i sold you were in as good of condition as i described. I knew they were really good, i just had to get rid of them to pay for the grading I've been doing lately. Im crossing my fingers for my next 90 grade. Im still on the look out for bebop/rocksteady pop ups to send to AFA. They both are graded AFA 80, very hard to find sealed items, I graded 3 sewer playset 2 were sealed one wasn't also bought a few others that are not factory sealed,

as for your fan club question I have owned 4 splinter fan clubs my highest grade is AFA 85, very hard to find nice ones, the 3 others were on the poorer condition side, I have a shredder fan club never graded it yet but looks like an 80

You can buy some with sliding bottoms from www.toygrader.com

Or

His are all graded by Action Figure Authority witch is also www.toygrader.com , which is where you send them in and they grade the quality of the item in all ways and put a grade on it and seal it so no hands can touch it anymore :)

Well,,,, I don't have any Afa 95 Tmnt, with different people grading, criteria changes, so you don't see any high grades anymore 90 is basically the best, but I do have an Afa 95 masters of the universe sorceress, you dont seem to find big card vintage figures graded higher then 90, I have 13 motu graded 90 plus the sorceress, as for Tmnt I have around 15, it seems like most figures grade 80 or 85, I think I told you Joe I have graded over 800 Tmnt and that's all the 90 grade figures I received, some people say sending in big groups of stuff like I send in gets you lower grades, I haven't graded for awhile and I don't know if I will, grading is great but their criteria never the same, but maybe I will post a pic of sorceress nothing special really looks like a 90 or maybe my 90's look like this 95, ha ha
