How many times have you rewatched through the series?

At this point I've seen every episode at least 3 times. I usually just watch the show in chronological order, so I never simply watch a random episode...I just start at episode 1 and work my way through all 7 seasons and then rewatch Turtles Forever.

Let's see, I watched every episode from first to last in chronological order twice. I used to watch the first 4 seasons a lot. As for the later seasons, not seeing episodes in a while makes me want to watch them so I would say I've seen every episode at least 5 times.

I honestly haven't seen every episode in its entirety yet, and probably only seen about half (I just need to catch up). If this question was done about the OT, I would have answered three times chronologically. I should really watch this continously when I have more time off, but there's just so much more for me to do that I like better.

I've seen most of them at least twice..except for the Fast Forward and BTTS seasons, which I've only seen once (minus the first FF episode, which seemed to be on all the time). I've watched TF probably 4 times now..

I had voted 5 or more...just adding the first two times were Spanish versions on TV (sometimes I missed any chapter)...and then..nowdays....English version (full seasons, full chapters ) thanks to internet ( :twink: ), at least 2-3 times.... and more coming!!! :tgrin::tgrin::tgrin::tgrin:

Those "weaker" eps of Season 1-5 I could skip if I wanted to because it was like one or two and it didn't affect the continuity at all. Such as in instance of "Return of the Justice Force" (I cannot stand that episode). As opposed both FF and BTTS where EVERY episode was like the Justice Force and could not be skipped. Sorry, but I prefer my Turtles and their universe to be dark and edgy with real fights. Not techno weapons, Raph puppets and Raph turning into a super-hero with a Jay Leno face. Let's not even mention Leo in spandex. XP

I don't have a black or white answer to this question. Cause while the show was still in production, I was rewatching the series on my own (since for the most part it didn't really air on tv daily). So I've seen the first couple of seasons probably like five, maybe six times. But the last couple of seasons I've only seen maybe a few times.

As this is probably close to my favorite version of the turtles I've watched it a lot. The first few seasons are much better then the later stuff but to me it's all good. I wish we would have had some bigger threats then the Shredder though.

I thought of this thread today and decided to start re-watching the series again. A sign of a good show is the re-watchability. That is one of those things this series has going for it. The layout of the episodes helps too, the fact they are more then just on shot stories make it so much better.

Yes, if you don't mind a lot of disc swapping to get proper episode order and tracking down rare discs.

And if you do mind, you can just do what I do and import from Australia.

Wikipedia also has a list of all the episodes in order if you do buy the DVDs that's how I usually navigate around my re-watches.

The thing I loved most was the continuity. When the show began I never knew the show would be so heavily connected.

Even episodes that appeared to be fillers at first would wind up being connected or followed-up on in a later episode.

Heh I currently just finished the first 5 seasons and started on Fast Forward. The switch is really a lot less jaring when you see everything in proper order, unlike how it originally aired.

I just wish they kept the same style the same as Seasons 1-5, although I know it was changed for budget reasons.

You know honestly I wouldn't have minded the animation changes for Fast Forward and BTTS since they were such different feeling series.... my biggest complaint was that they didn't go back to the animation style from season 1-5 for Turtles Forever.

Turtles Forever had better animation than the show, they just kept April and Splinter's new designs.

Remember the Turtles had no pupils in Turtles Forever when they did in BTTS.

The animation itself was leagues better than the regular show.

It still was ultra shiny looking like the animation in the later series and with the exception of the pupils the Turtles were still their later designs also not how they looked in the first 5 seasons. Yes it was an improvement but still not as good!

All of them once, but many of them many more times. The Red Sky seasons episodes are the ones I've seen once. Lots of others I owned as a kid and watched all the time.

as for the 4Kids series, a few times. 5-10 I guess, well maybe aside from Back to the Sewer.

Some of the pacing problems I had with certain arcs no longer matter now that you can watch it all in one sitting. Notes in the Underground and Turtles in Space in particular flow much better when you watch them together.

I still wish Season 5 got a full 26 episodes. In that gap between the tribunal stuff and the climax where "Membership drive" and the third Garbageman ep were, I feel like they could have slotted in another 10-12 episodes in there, tying up more loose ends like Rat King and Leatherhead.

Maybe even adapt some more comic stuff that they didn't get to.

With the exception of Adam and maybe Tora at times I wasn't too interested in the characters so I didn't feel like we missed much :trazz:

If it was supposed to be 26 episodes they changed their minds before going into production, because there are no other episode titles or missing episode numbers from that point.

I wish I could recall where I saw/read this but I do think it was cut before the production stage even started. I just remember thinking I was glad it stayed at 13 episodes then if that is what they decided to leave out. Because frankly I didn't find the human acolytes that interesting and would have been annoyed at the time taken away from the Turtles honestly. But if more had been going to be done it would have made more sense why the human acolytes are there, considering how pointless they seem in the 13 episode arch.

Well like the Membership drive episode, I don't think the eps inbetween would be all about them. It seems that ep and the intended Hun/Garbageman ep were there to be a "breather" inbetween the Demon Shredder story.

I am certain we would have gotten another Rat King episode in the least if it had been longer. Would have been the perfect time to do the usual Splinter/Rat King story that every series has at some point.

I also find it kind of strange how absent Leatherhead was overall. He's not included in the finale against the Demon Shredder at all when they included almost everyone else...like all the other villains and heroes.

In fact after Season 4 I don't think Leatherhead even appears again till his cameo in Season 7's last episode during April/Casey's wedding.
