Hello my friends, finally we will do Krang.

Why am I calling him "OT" Krang?
Because I want to state that General Krang will not be welcome here LOL.
That character will definitely need a redesign one day, but we are aiming to OT Krang or Archie Comics Krang on this one.
No General, we want the nasty Warlord!! OK?


So with that out of the way, lets get this party started.

RULES:

All people who choose to participate will have 10 days to come up with a redesign for the given character.
You can use any medium you wish.
You can sketch, paint, make a 3-D model, make a sprite, make a custom action figure, whatever you want.
Its entirely up to you!

If you have done a backstory for your redesigns and want to see it submitted with your art, please embed it in the picture.

You can post any number of redesigns you want and chose if it will be submitted to the contest poll, but when nothing is mentioned by the submitter, they will be always considered submissions.
Will only be considered a maximum of 2 finished Art submissions per participant for the contest poll.

All submissions made after the end date will not be considered, so please don´t post more art if the deadline ended.

As well, you don't have to force yourself to make your design conform to any new or old cartoon or comic book's style.
Be as drastic in your redesign as you see fit. Whatever makes you happy.

If you can't think of a new design, or just hate the idea of working on this character, you do not have to feel obligated to participate in this particular challenge.
You will still be free to participate in any future challenges you wish.

When the 10 days end, the contest poll will be post with the submissions during 5 days.
The winner of the contest poll can choose the 5th character in the next character poll.


Art Submissions End Date: 4th February 2012.

I was thinking Baxter Stockman would bring out the most diversity and creativity yet we had Don and not that alternate future Don so its really just an idea of what he might have looked like. Lots of room for creativity there too I suppose. Just hope you all keep him in tact.

thanks, i fear not...i was never good with color on paper aside from paints. :tsad: maybe some oil pastels could work but i'll prob just tweak some more things to krang and the background and stuff. i definitely want to ink it though so maybe if I'm feeling adventurous...haha i still have to paint me some botched statues too, could put me in the mood!

I wanted to give it a shot, so here's my submission. It's a very dastardly looking Krang riding in a blobby innards of his disgusting new body made of mutagen. The suit, who resembles Tor Johnson, seems to be in great pain. It longs for death!

I might end up coloring this before the deadline. What do you guys think?

And there you go, the evolution of Krang! I took those ideas to the extreme and here's the result !

Thanks! I sure hope so. Powder's design is great, but I think I did a good enough job to atleast make some voters hesitate before voting... I'll try to modify the presentation a bit though, as most of the details are lost due to the smaller size of the picture.

I did not either when I first tried a couple of months back but I did have a list minimized to make it in the 12 minute window. It was not to cheat but for spelling Magnemite,Exeggutor, Electabuzz, and Gyarados. Those four names always tripped me up trying to spell them. Understanable I hope.

As a teacher in trainning I know its the best and the worst you remember the most. Its the ones in between that you forget as time passes. Your case maybe from repressed memory.:P Which ones annoyed you? Exeggute and Exeggutor are really the only annoying ones to me out of the first generation. I'm not too fond of krang himself, but I respect your decision of trying something that wasn't already done. That's just me really, I don't really like monsters with too many ''human'' traits.

Sorry Luz :toops: for real, I have it easier to draw female body because my wife help me with the poses, I always use a photo of her in the pose I need to draw.

I do what I like and I like to joke with concepts, specially when people is so serious about them, Krang looks like a bubble gum, I like the female body, boobs are great, all together can be a great pic, so do anyone like my art or everyone just looked to the boobs?
