I am 14 and am really sad at the fact that i took the turtles for granted. I really wish I was a kid again eating turtle cake and watching the cartoons. No i find they are pure genius. IF only I had a chance to go back in time. Expierence them during there later seasons. I've wanted to know where to buy some episodes but in a store. Is there any news of hope for the Ninja Turtles. I have just been reinterseted after I realized about my youth. The years I took for granted. Please email me at

Hi, MASTA! Welcome! I'm glad to know that there's at least one teenager of almost my age (I was 14 until April 9th). Why going back in time? Do you think your childhood has already finished? As for me, I still watch cartoons.
I, for one, think TMNT the cartoon was something VERY specail. Kid's cartoons these days are crap compared to TMNT. They are either too serious for young kids to understand (DBZ, Batman Beyond, Xmen: Evo) or they have to be completely silly and badly drawn (Cow and Chicken, Max and Sam, I. M. Weasel) There is no happy medium anymore. The closest I have found to a successful cartoon which combines humor and a decent storyline is Pokemon (even tho ash is a moron who needs to consult his pokedex evertytime he sees a rock.)
TMNT the cartoon rocked! It had FUN storylines, well drawn backgrounds, and it had mistakes that would NEVER be let past the production stages these days (voice switches, GIANT plot holes, strange animation, mask color mistakes) and that is what made the TMNT cartoon so special (Besides the fact that it had such an origanal story concept )

Cartoons nowadays are just pure crap compared to the tmnt. I loved the storylines on every episode. The characters were the best that made the show excellent.

Me three. Cartoons are just downright strange, or they are anime, or they are these Disney based things for the really little babes *yawn*.
I mean, I was a senior in HS and going on into college, when the TMNT, Ghostbusters, Talespin and the Gargoyles were my top shows I had to watch.
Pokemon and Digimon are okay, but not the same. Medabots are much better, but guessing what time they'll be on FOX is a PITA. I end up spending my Saturdays on the Internet, if nothing else!
One time I decided to give Evolution a spin, and well since I hadn't seen the movie to begin with, my first impression of that cartoon was that it was a rip off of Ghostbusters. They just hunt down aliens instead of ghosts, and they had this wierd lil dude that reminded me of Slimer. But this toon just doesn't do anything for me like GB did. *sai*
Maybe that's it... kids are now more interested in the Internet or playing vuideo games, that the cartoons on TV don't have the audience on TV like they used too. *shrug*

Me four! I agree with Mica exactly. SPIDER-MAN the cartoon was awesome too! And again, this cartoon was back whenI was a kid. God I was spoiled with great cartoons and kid shows to watch! I wish the kids nowadays get the experience I have had in my childhood.

Mica! Talespin and Ducktales were one of my favorite cartoons. I remember watching Ducktales: The Movie. Also Inspector Gadget was shocking to watch because it just appealed to me alot.

I agree with all of you, todays cartoons are really bad, are the producers deaf or something why don't they understand.

End of your childhood?? Dude, I'm almost nineteen and I still think I'm going through my childhood. You've got lots of years ahead of ya, so you shouldn't fret  And I'd love to see the TMNT cartoon back on the air. Who wouldn't??

HBO Family! that would be one to try.....and as fpr the cartoons nowa days that sucks...they do, look at DBZ i hate that cartoon all because the good guys use magic and i am one who thin up close combat is awesome, then u have Pokemon, Digimon, gundum wing and ll those other baloni's, none of that stuff would have even been a thought if it wasnt for batman, the Avenegers, spiderman, TMNT..i mean at least they are not furry vreatures running around....and the thing is, pokemon is like a cartoon that makes the main character rely on sumone else to do his dirty work....i dont know does anyone know where i am coming from?
What's Kazza?
HT, you froot, what da heck you talking about with Xmen:Evo reminding you of Ghostiebusters? You on some kinda krak? o_O Plus, you can't go wrong with Kurt/Nightcrawler... and AMANDA SEFTON in a newest ep! YAY! THEY'RE GETTING INTO EXCALIBER STORYLINES!!! *gets all worked up into a comic-induced fangirl frenzy* nyar nyar nyar nyar!! oops... sorry *wipes foam from corner of mouth before continuing*
I dunno any other stations... I was torked when the changed FOX Family to ABC family... *sai* just when there were rumors that they were gunna start showing NT:TNM re-runs on that station... FOX doesn't like to keep shows for over two seasons ('cept PRs and digis)
I wish there was an CBS Family! They might show TMNT!! to CBS for cancelling thier kids shows! WAAAAAHHHH!

KaZaa is the file-share replacement program after Napster bit the dust.
And I wasn't talking about XMEN:Evo, Mica! Geez.. talk about your one track mind. I was talking about 'Evolution' - that cartoon talken off that funky sci-fi-alien movie released last summer. The one with the yellow happy face, with a bullet hole between the eyes. (That, or it was a third eye...)
oooohhh... *G* miscommunication! ;D but that "evolution" movie looked STOOPID, and the cartoon commercials for it looked creepy.. not exactly KidsWB's *BEST* idea

I beleive WinMx has eps too, I havta look again. Tho like some of you, it will prolly take me forever to d/l them too on a 56K. Of course I have other resources like the T1 lines on campus, but unfortuneately no WinMx or Kazaa on those machines. It would be cool if someone could just put the eps on CDs, I know some are doing that, but I mean it's too bad there aren't alotta them like alotta copies. But I'm not demanding, that would be hard and take time and money. I have alot if not most of the eps, just not online or anything like that.
*if I start dubbing eps tho, I think I'll need another vcr, heh*
