Just sharing what I've got so far.

For my TMNT stuff I have;

Irma (just arrived today! Yay!) :tlove:
April (1993)
Mona Lisa (arrived two days ago)
Foot Soldier (1988 )
Mutagen Man
Pizza Face
Slash (year ???)
Mutatin' Foot Soldier (which might be my favorite non-Irma figure)
Mutatin' Rocksteady
Krang with his android body
Shredder (25th Anniversary)

& General Traag is on his way from the land of ebay :tgrin:

Toxic Crusaders

Toxie (I've had this figure since I was about 7 years old)
Dr. Killemoff
Psycho
Radiation Ranger
Head-Banger
No-zone
Junkyard
Major Disaster
Bonehead
Crusader Skater (vehicle Toxie is riding)
Smogcycle (Boneheads bike)

I also have a few Earthworm Jim figures but they don't really fit in with the TMNT/TC stuff. I also have a collection of anime figures and Transformer/robot stuff, but I wanted to keep this TMNT related. :tcool:

Oh and if you're wondering about the green trashcans, they're from a toyline called Trash Pack. They have gross little creatures in them, but they fit in well with the TMNT/TC figures so I put them together. I use the bigger trashcans to store TMNT weapons.

Dude awesome, i love toxic crusaders.

My favorite is probably the mona lisa tho, it's one of the figures i want to get hold of the most :tlove:

I found nozone and the 2 headed guy for cheap near my town and it'snot that they're not interesting, but all my current money is set apart for the following:

Dragnskull's bucky o'hare, panic's duke l'orange and caseyjonesfan's cowboys of moo mesa.

Those are like my priority, what i want reeeal bad :tlove: after that i'll probably grab a loose nozone or junkyard tho!

Anyway congrats!!
Let's enjoy collecting TMNT/Toxic Crusaders! :tlol:

Mona is a great figure. She feels like she was made for the Toon Turtles line because of her soft limbs. She goes well with Irma :)

A friend of mine bought me both Irma and Mona off of Amazon for a combined $40.

I'll take pictures of the Earthworm Jim figures a little later.

Hmmm...
Nice! Not only is your friend pretty considerate, but he's got good taste on figures :tlol:
I could buy loose mona off that site for cheap, but being far away, it's shipping i need to save for :D but i'll probably get it eventually.

And ok, i'll look forward to it :tsmile:

Yeah as far as I know there was just the one line of figures There was a plan for a second wave, but it was canceled. This year I think Neca is releasing video game accurate EWJ figures.

I had Psycrow at some point. For all I know it's in my closet in a box somewhere. I still have his hook-gun present, right next to Major Mucus.

I found a Baxter Stocking for $5 at my local comic shop today. He's missing his wings, extra arms, weapons, but his overall quality is still intact. A few marks here and there, but otherwise just fine.

I also picked up a Donatello winter hat at Spencers. They were on sale for like $8 so I couldn't pass it up :tlol:.

Foot Soldier Clang
02-03-2012, 07:56 PM
Yeah it really was a treasure to find. A friend of mine told me he saw it there like a week ago, and for the price they were asking I thought it'd already be gone. I lucked out.

There used to be a great shop near me that had a bin of 50cent toys that were mostly TMNT figures of all kinds. Probably some original stuff there too. I miss that store so much now :tcry:

Finally found a decent priced Leatherhead on ebay! He arrived today, and he's just as I remembered; greatly detailed, and horribly out of scale.

Leatherhead has such a great mold, and he just looks fantastic, and the paint is just so great, great weapons, but why is he so damn short! :tlol:. Regardless of his obvious flaw, I still love this figure. He was one of my favorite mutants from the OT, by gumbo!

Also, I should have received a General Traag figure today (I ordered it in late January), but instead I received a complete Slash figure. That's all well and good, but I've already got a Slash figure. I hope I can get this problem fixed because I really had my heart set on that Traag figure :tcry:.

Nickokapo
02-08-2012, 08:57 PM
Nice one :D i had the chance of getting a leatherhead but ended up getting april instead (trying to save those pennies for the main, basic figures first)...its a cool figure :tgrin: but my fave still has gotta be mona lisa :trazz:
i did notice he was shorter than the others o.o probably just because he's leaning forward tho X3

Foot Soldier Clang
02-08-2012, 09:41 PM
April was the first figure I bought to restart my collecting. I still don't have any turtles (aside from Slash) because I want to build up my Foot Clan and Dimension X collection figures.

Nickokapo
02-09-2012, 05:03 AM
That' cool :D i wanted to focus mostly on animal characters but you gotta have an april :tsmile: could only find mikey from the 80's turtles so far, but patience is key i guess :P
The only female animal characters seem to be mona lisa...maybe mutatin' april...who looks kinda eerie...and um that's...it?I know its a toyline 'aimed at boys' but jeeez lol
But, fat chance i'll find those in argentina.
What i'd /Really/ like to is a Ninjara figure *looks at Neca* x3

Foot Soldier Clang
02-09-2012, 08:56 AM
The Mutations line might be my favorite line from the OT. I plan on getting most of the line. I already have Rocksteady, the the mutating Foot Soldier. Splinter I want to get because his mutations figure might also be the only Hamato Yoshi figure we ever get :teek:. And yeah, I want April too. My only problem with that figure are it's arms. They just look so unnecessarily bulky, but its the figure that is referencing the episode where April was mutated into a cat, so I want it :tlol:. The mutating turtles are terrible though, so I won't be getting them.

I don't think the rights to Ninjara belong to whoever owns the rights to the TMNT. I think her original creator still owns her rights, so we probably will never see a figure of her unless she appears in the new cartoon or something. Its a shame, Ninjara is cool, and having a figure of her would be awesome.

Nickokapo

"They just look so unnecessarily bulky, but its the figure that is referencing the episode where April was mutated into a cat, so I want it . "

Exactly the way i feel about it :tlol: it's errr...very, um...not very ladylike, to quote strongbad :tshifty: but it's the only official OT catgirl april figure we're gonna see, so whatever.

You're right about ninjara :tanime: the rights didn't belong to mirage (same deal with usagi, probably why 'stan sakai's written on the figures' arse :tlol:)
I have many Furrlough, but none of the ones ninjara is in...cool character..

Foot Soldier Clang
02-09-2012, 12:05 PM
There's always hope I guess. If the nick show takes off, they might bring in Ninjara and other archie comics characters. I wouldn't mind seeing the Mighty Mutanimals or guys like Armmagon show up. And if they all do maybe we'll even get figures :)

Nickokapo
02-09-2012, 01:24 PM
Oh yeah :D nothing's set in stone...if properly redesigned i'd love to see a new ninjara or mondo gecko figure!

So my local comic shop had this MOC Head Banger, the mad scientist surfer from Toxic Crusaders!!!

I'm a huge fan of the crusaders so I basically threw money at the people at the cash register for this thing. I already have a Head Banger figure, but this one is in far better shape, and has all the weapons, including the gimmicky glow in the dark weapon! Joy!

I know most people aren't a fan of the third film, but I like it. And if nothing else it gave us a complete toy line based off the movie. I decided to start collecting TMNTIII figures because I do like the film, the figures are pretty great, and I am a complete and utter Japanophile. So, as my second purchase for this line I got a complete, MOC, Walker, who was one of two main villains in the film. I have TMNTIII April coming in the mail, and down the line I plan on getting the complete set :tcool:

Nice!I'm more of a fan of the first 2 movies and whatnot, but i do dig the 'movie star' line of figures! For example the movie III splinter is pretty cool looking IMO...unfortunately mine got damaged recently:
http://i42.tinypic.com/9tl9w6.jpg
Been kinda mad about this  i don't suppose i could fix it.
Are you planning on getting any other movie figures? :D I'd like to find tokka & rahzar myself..

02-20-2012, 05:47 PM
Sorry to hear about your TMNTIII. Yeah I don't know how you could fix his fuzzyness. It's a real tragedy :tcry:.

I plan on getting the rest of the TMNTIII line as far as the turtles are concerned. I may get the whole set just to have more humans in my collection. Tokka and Rahzar are down on my list of must-haves, but when I get them I will probably get the ones from the Mutations line.

No idea  i'm now suddenly looking forward to getting another splinter tho lol, it's just kind of a shame.

That's pretty cool :D my list of must haves is pretty short and basic, but i figured i'd add em, metalhead and baxter stockman since they were in turtles in time and the figures are nice!I'll be getting the regular ones tho.

I actually ordered a small lot of figures recently from the Mutations Road Ready line, one of which is a Road Ready Splinter who turns into the turtles Party Wagon! Such a weird figure. You'd think Mikey or Don would turn into the van :tlol: It should be arriving by Wednesday and I can't wait to show everyone.

I keep bidding and losing on Metal Head figures! He's such a tough figure to get with weapons :tsad:.

Darn :tsad: i've seen metalhead in my country's auction site, with no accesories, for $16 usd minus shipping, but i'd rather focus on getting a decent shredder first ;)

As for weapons, i only have 80's casey's bat :tanime: that's the one thing i'll be planning on ordering from ebay...sai, katanas, chucks, bo staff, and so on...

Thanks mysterycolor...looks like the one i have is 'movie star' splinter...kind of a difficult thing to fix, the fur :P i'll just pretend it's a liver spot

Finding a decent OT Shredder is a tough job indeed. Other lines had great Shredders (2k3, TMNT CGI movie, TMNT:NM), but the OT Shredder always looked ... wrong. Part of the reason I decided I needed the Mutations Road Ready Shredder was because it was like the original OT Shredder figure, but without the crazy legs. He can actually stand up right! And I hear you can remove his cape/Mutant Module-altmode and he's basically the best we have to a good OT Shredder.

Metal Head is around that price here too, but I keep getting outbid. I try to stay in a budget of $10 per figure, with free shipping. If the price goes past that, I stop bidding :tgrumble:

Yeah, i may have to get 2k3 Shredder or good ol' shorty super shredder, for the time being, 88' OT Shredder looks a bit off and i've heard from different people is hard to stand up...also many of the ones in mercadolibre seem to be missing parts of his trademark armor...mutatin shredder looks pretty accurate, tho!Congrats on that one :D i can't find it here unfortunately, just 'toon shredder' & 'slice 'n' dice shredder'

Yeah, luckily i've been able to get most of my loose figures for a very decent price...!My personal limit is 30-40 ARS, so just about 9-10 USD too...maybe up to 15 if it's an oddity :trazz: but usually not.

So I've probably said it a million times here in the drome, but I LOVE the Mutations line, despite it's obvious faults. So my Road Ready Mutations finally arrived. I bought this lot for $10 with free shipping on ebay, and boy am I glad I pounced on it when I did. These figures do not disappoint. To be precise, they are exactly what I wanted and expected; ridiculous and incomprehensible.

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_15-32-14_675.jpg

Road Ready Leo here is definitely my least favorite of the lot. He's full of Transformer kibble on a disgusting scale. His wheels are all exposed, and to properly mutate him into his fire truck form you have to remove his legs! And his truck form isn't that great to begin with. I actually couldn't be bothered to photograph it. Oh, and his hands are too small to hold his Mutatin' Katana. It's a cool weapon, mutating from a dagger... to a sword. It's just too bulky for any of my TMNT guys to hold! You suck Road Ready Leo.

EDIT: Well I finally managed to mutate Leo without removing his legs, and he still sucks. Still Can't be bothered to take a picture of him.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_15-33-52_660.jpg

Road Ready Shredder is the reason why I jumped on this lot. He transforms into the Mutant Module! That's awesome! He's basically just a full Shredder action figure jammed into this fold away Mutant Module that becomes his cape. I don't have his weapons, but I don't care because his alt mode IS his weapon! The drill even spins! That's awesome!!!
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_15-34-43_334.jpg

His Mutant Module cape makes him a complete jerk to balance, but he looks cool propped up against anything. But who am I kidding, if you want this, you want it for the cute, tiny, Module form
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_16-17-08_921.jpg

At first I thought Splinter being the Party Wagon was an odd choice, but now I see it's to give him a parallel with Shredder's Mutant Module. They are enemies after all. And the Party Van is absolutely adorable and so much smaller than the Mutant Module. And it's fairly accurate to the original Party Wagon. Unfortunately, the grimace-face-stick has been peeling off this figure. Oh well, still awesome.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_15-34-58_567.jpg

Splinter you've been eating too much cheese and sushi. Look at him! He's such a fattie! And his weapons, thankfully are as ridiculous as this line. He comes with a hubcap that turns into some sort of... stabbing weapon. And a parody of "The Club" called "The Clutch", which functions the same as the actual Club.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-21_19-32-54_636.jpg

I plan on getting the rest of the Road Ready Mutations eventually, but this has definitely satiated my hunger for weird TMNT toys for now. I wish they made a Krang that mutated into the Technorome, or a Foot Soldier that mutated into the Footcruiser. Oh well...

Wheeee!!

Niiice :D i think you've got the definite OT shredder figure now, just about! The other one are great too :tlol: a bit on the absurd side maybe but thats a plus lol...and to be fair, all of their vehicle modes look superb.
My main beef with the Toon Shredder available to me is he is missing his trademark pads :ohwell:

Foot Soldier Clang
02-21-2012, 07:21 PM
Leo's mutation mode is terrible. The back of a fire truck isn't supposed to be wearing a belt! :tlol:

Pads or not, Toon Shredder was the closest to an actual shredder figure we've ever gotten in terms of OT color schemes.

So after many mishaps and fighting, I finally have a General Traag. He is missing his gun, but whatever. I'm just happy to have gotten this figure at a very good price (not even $4!). And he's in okay shape too, with only some paint missing from his helmet.

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-24_16-57-58_161.jpg

I can't say the same for my TMNTIII April thought. I'm heartbroken. Because she arrived the same time as Traag, she was crammed into my mailbox with him, and a bunch of letters, and I think that's how her arm broke off. I will eventually have to buy this figure again, but that will be in a few months I think. I've got 80% of my "want list".

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-02-24_16-58-20_705.jpg

For now I'm going to have to settle for a mostly intact April. I guess it's not that big of a deal, it's just... I don't know. I just was there was a better way to fix this sort of figure, but all I can do is Krazy glue her arm into place.

This is where TMNTIII April resides now, dueling Walker. Egg Timer vs Egg Timer!

If you can crack her open, you can drill a hole through the broken stub and reinforce it with a flat head screw and superglue.

There is another trick I use with an old soldering iron which can be dangerous if you don't have the correct protective equipment.

Also great reviews! I have these figures but I still love reading other peoples thoughts on them. :)

I'd be too afraid to crack her open, and besides since she's only on my shelf for display purposes it's not so bad. She still has her elbow joint that works perfectly on that arm.

And thanks! I actually want to review more figures because its fun :tcool:

So this fantastic fattie warrior arrived today. The first non-female non-Foot Clan figure I've ever purposely bought as Roady Ready Leo and Road Ready Splinter were bought because they were a lot with Road Ready Shredder.

I chose Tattoo as my first male hero for my collection because he's such a weirdo. Even his bio pegs him as an outcast. A fat kid picked on by other kids for being fat, so he harnessed his bulk to become a sumo warrior for some unnamed Anti-Foot organization.

As I understand it, having tattoos is frowned on by most traditional sumo organizations for several reasons, one of which is because of the link to the "yakuza". And plus it's seen as a vulgar thing to do in such a deeply rooted traditional sport/Shinto ceremony like sumo wrestling. But Tattoo was already an outcast from the beginning, so why not go that extra mile to make himself seem even more unapproachable.

So Tattoo seems to be dressed more like a stylized pro-wrestler, with black trunks, and a dragon shaped sash around his waist. I'm not sure what the deal with his dragon staff is, as sumo wrestling is a unarmed sport. Whatever.

And of course there are his tattoos. I freaking hate how they're stickers and not paint apps. They're terrible. I actually had to Krazy glue them on. I'm sure there's probably a correct way to display his tats, but I chose to put the giant heart on his even more giant gut. And I stuck the lightning bolts on his back.

And aside from being a master sumo, Tattoo looks like his has maybe some experience in the art of kung fu as he has a tattoo that says "kung fu time" on his thigh.

Tattoo is great and fits right at home with my other TMNT, even if he does sort of look like a Popeye character.

So since joining the Technodrome my collection of Foot Clan mutants and Dimension X monsters has grown significantly! I couldn't be happier. And today, the accessories I ordered arrived, so now I have a few complete and near complete figures!

So here I have my current Four Horsemen; Antrax (holding TMNT3 Walker's weapons, and Slashes chucks), Mutagen Man with General Traags blaster and a container of mutagen, Pizza Face with all of his own weapons, and Baxter Stockman with his wings and fly arms (holding Pizza Face's cleaver).
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-03-05_18-05-06_725.jpg

Here I have Shredder, Krang, General Traag, Mutatin' Rocksteady, and hidden behind Rocksteady is the Mutatin' Foot Soldier (who I just call Alpha One :tlol:)
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-03-05_18-06-04_773.jpg

And check out this teenie, tiny despot; It's the tiniest Super Shredder!
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-03-05_19-41-49_311.jpg

And here we have a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil! I'll be honest, I'm rootin' for the evil guys.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-03-05_18-06-22_74.jpg

And here's my Foot Soldier hanging out on my lamp. I got him a proper Foot Soldiering weapon (that shell clamp thing) but I still prefer him weilding The Clutch, which is an accessory that belongs to my Mutations Road Ready Splinter.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-03-05_19-42-30_14.jpg

I basically have all the figures I want, with the exception of only a few. I will eventually get around to collecting some turtles, but I'm in no rush. I'm a bigger fan of bad guys :shredder:. I think next I'm going to focus on finding some vehicles, more foot soldiers, and maybe buy a few more accessories.

Until I get more turtles, things don't look too good for Road Ready Leo :fshifty:

I don't have any 2k3 figures but I'm considering getting a few Foot Ninjas, Karai, and robo-spider-thing Baxter Stockman.

Mutatin' Rocksteady is my favorite figure of the character from the OT series line of toys. He just looks more like he did in the cartoon, and he's a good hefty size. I plan on getting Mutatin' Bebop soon. I love my Leatherhead figure, but he's so freakin' short! There's no excuse for it. Even if his figure were standing up straight he'd still be shorter than April. Still, he's a great figure in spite of all his flaws :tlol:

Go for it. Road Ready Shredder is an absolute joy to own. He's heavy because of his Mutant Module-cloak, but he still stands better than the original Shredder figure. He doesn't have his claws, but he makes up with it with his drill-shield.

I have a hard time displaying him :D i put most villains & secondary characters on a back row and he's overshadowed by the turtles in the front...i had to put him standing as upright as possible then turn him 'round a bit so his jaws peek through :tlol: i'm thinking of rearranging everything.

My collection is mostly villains, so all my baddies are upfront. When it comes to displaying them I like to have them in action poses. I also change my display on like a daily basis. :tcool:

Go for it! I know that his complete weapons include a Mutatin' Jack and some purple retromutagen canister (both of which I plan on ordering soon). I might get a MIB Road Ready Shredder just to keep in the box.

So last night I bought a lot on ebay that consisted of a couple of Dick Tracy figures (Tracy and Mumbles), a couple Toxic Crusader figures (Toxie and a Radiation Ranger), and Muckman! All for like $15. They all have most of their accessories (I believe the Radiation Ranger is complete!).

And tomorrow I'm going to my local comic shop. I made a deal to trade some Street Fighter figures with one of the guys there for some TMNT stuff. I don't know what deals he'll have for me, but I'm expecting a Casey Jones, a Metalhead, and maybe another Foot Soldier!

So tomorrow I'll be posting what I've obtained from the comic shop, and whenever that lot arrives I will also be posting pictures.

So my deal went great. For three Street Fighter figures, the guy at the comic shop gave me all of these guys, plus a collectors case! Astounding!

So here we have Wyrm, Wingnut, Screwloose, Casey Jones, Rat King, and Metal Head! They're all complete, and he also gave me their I.D. cards!

This collectors case was kind of a freebie. He was nice enough to just throw it in as part of the deal.

Does Metalhead have his other hand? Poor guy often breaks due to his "action feature".

So finally the TMNT classics line is out. I plan to hunt for the rest of these figures at stores, but I had to get a hold of Donatello before anything else. Being my favorite out of the team, I bought him straight off of Amazon without hesitation; shipping prices be damned.

Quality aside, the one glaring, staring, problem with this figure is the eyes. I'm not sure if this is a common issue with the Donnie figures, but it's so noticeable it has to be said; DONNIE! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYES!!

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-32-03_953.jpg

Ugh... that's pretty awful. How is he supposed to building machines that fail and explode if he can't even keep his eyes straight. It does give him a sort of derpy charm, but I would have rather it not be like this.

That one issue aside, if the rest of the figures are like this one, then the classics line is a total home run! The plastic has a nice quality, the weapon is properly colored, the elbow pads and knee pads aren't part of the mold, but also don't compromise the pose-ability of the figure. It's just a stellar job by Playmates.

I always wanted to be a "Figma"-like company that made American figures. A good number of anime figures (like Dragon Ball Z stuff) often get super articulated, beautifully painted toys that go for $30-$40-$50 and up. And it's usually worth it if you're a collector. With these classics figures Playmates sort of opens the floodgates to have super articulated figures of a decent quality at a reasonable and very affordable price. So, turtles aside, I hope Playmates take this classics line type of articulation and run with it. I want to see great toys of all kinds at this quality and price.

But I digress, back to Donnie...

He stands rather majestically on his wonderful manhole cover base like any proud mutant would. The stand isn't a tight fit at all, but it also isn't too loose, so removing him from it is easy and you don't have to worry about him slipping off it.
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-32-46_609.jpg

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-33-05_155.jpg

Donnie's shell, and I assume the shell of all the turtles, make him rather back heavy, but even without the base he can stand really well, and can even pull off some pseudo-martial arts poses (but only some). I did have a slight issue where while posing Don his belt buckle would unpeg, but it's really no bother, and it will easy peg back into place.

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-36-06_605.jpg

Here's Don with my other Don's. I'm a huge fan of Super Don/Dark Turtle!

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-36-48_149.jpg

And here's Don with some other great toys in my collection. If you know the size of these figures you can get an idea of how tall and wide the classics line toys are. I really hope if they make a Shredder and Krang that they're taller than the turtles.

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-37-47_68.jpg

But one of the best things about this figure is it's size, and 32 points of articulation (32! That's more points of articulation than I have!!!), is that these figures are in scale and can hold the Mutagen canisters from the original toyline, and it looks GREAT. Better than a slice of pizza if you ask me.

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj624/footsoldierclang/2012-07-13_16-39-39_858.jpg

My advice is be creative and see what you can find. In lieu of pizza, I'll give Don this pigwich!
