BONUS, TOKKA almost won the character poll, so I think that it would be fun to make a Bonus Redesign, dedicated to this Movie character, TOKKA.

So do it in 14 days, if you dare.

This time I will not give references you are on your own.

Se TMNT II Movie or lurk the net, this is for Hardcore, if you don´t know TOKKA you don´t deserve to participate LOL (Powder will love this "no casuals" attitude)

RULES:

All people who choose to participate will have 14 days to come up with a redesign for the given character.
You can use any medium you wish.
You can sketch, paint, make a 3-D model, make a sprite, make a custom action figure, whatever you want.
Its entirely up to you!

If you have done a backstory for your redesigns and want to see it submitted with your art, please embed it in the picture.

You can post any number of redesigns you want and chose if it will be submitted to the contest poll, but when nothing is mentioned by the submitter, they will be always considered submissions.
Will only be considered a maximum of 2 finished Art submissions per participant for the contest poll.

All submissions made after the end date will not be considered, so please don´t post more art if the deadline ended.

As well, you don't have to force yourself to make your design conform to any new or old cartoon or comic book's style.
Be as drastic in your redesign as you see fit. Whatever makes you happy.

If you can't think of a new design, or just hate the idea of working on this character, you do not have to feel obligated to participate in this particular challenge.
You will still be free to participate in any future challenges you wish.

When the 10 days end, the contest poll will be post with the submissions during 5 days.
The winner of the contest poll can have bragging rights about it

Normally, I'd be all over this one. But I don't think that I'll be able to submit anything. I just don't have the time.

You know I always count with your "true to the bone" opinion, sometimes we agree sometimes not, I appreciate that you can express yourself with the truth.

These challenges have growth with your help, and your art also growth enormously since that draw I colored for you (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=30073), I like to think that this forum is making us better my friend.

I also think that these challenges have brought something fresh to all fans her, that celebrate art and TMNT, by not only lurking for fan art but also producing new and vibrant fan art, and like you, developing talents.

Hey Ulisses, yeah it's been long! I've been meaning to participate since day one, but I'm often too busy with work. I happen to be ill at the moment, so I can't make it to work, but I sure can draw!

That is true. All I did was try to get rid of that clunky look of him, and introduce a couple of references, but it's not that much of a redesign.

I wanted to mix 2 designs together. One of the normal movie Tokka, and one of a real aligator snapping turtle. I wanted to make it bigger and more threatning, without having it look like Gamera or whatever...

I think I reached my goal.

So here you go, tokka on a rampage at the scrapyard in TMNT Secret of the Ooze...

I doubt it has happened and maybe it will be the first time,but not neccessarily the cahracter being drawn puts it head and shoulders above the rest but the drawing itself thanks to what compliments the featured character in the drawing! Again,nicely done!

And you pretty much nailed it. This is more about composition than it is about tokka himself. He's there alright, but instead of focusing only on him like I would've done normally, I tried to also ''redesign'' the scene in wich we see him for the first time in Secret of the Ooze.

Everything was done in photoshop using a tablet.

And yeah if I have the time for it, I might ''complete'' the piece with Razhar. But I won't remove shredder, I want him to be there as he's the first who faced them. I could try to place Tatsu somewhere, but I'll see...
