I always like it when the Turtles are forced to live with April and wait out trouble. We've seen this in (probably) every incarnation of TMNT.
But how are they going to manage it this time now that April's a teenager?

the same way they managed not to be seen when Charles and Danny busted in on her in the movies: By being ninjas!

Exactly. I doubt they'll stay at April's for a huge length of time, but I'm sure they'll visit her to call on her if they need help.

It'd surely be amusing this time around I think, what with April living with her parents & all. I can see it now, the turtles sneaking in the window, sleeping in the closet, under the bed, etc, Mikey giggling while Leo tries to hush him. Ha. Parents come in, see nothing, tell April to go to bed.

Aren't her parents captured by Shredder and the Kraang? Maybe when the Turtles rescue them, they'll let the Turtles stay awhile?

Yeah, forget the parents and just party. I can see that happening.
And just how laid back are they?

Unless this is like most cartoon versions and the Police will first think they are in bug or frog costumes.
Then one of the guys will correct them that they are Turtles :trazz:

It's not a party, it's a get-together
APRIL PARTY, APRIL PARTY:lol:
There's lots of room for humor in this new angle...
I guess April's dad (Mom too?) is getting an important role in all this. Maybe a colleague of Baxter? (Forgive me if this has been covered; I'm still catching up on news and stuff.) :)

Very quietly.
It'll no doubt be a play on the "have you been sneaking boys into your room?" trope.

Well since April's parents have been kidnap, we properly won't be seeing them for a while, so April won't have any trouble hiding them.

I wonder how long they will be kidnapped for.
A lot of 16 year olds are pretty independent, but you'd think neighbors or someone would take notice that she's living on her own sooner or later.

And that's the kind of stuff nickelodeon docent consider important!

I guess it's plausible that others wouldn't notice she's alone, as long as it doesn't go on for too long.
Now I'm imagining her having a parent/teacher conference coming, and having to explain her way out of it.

Or maybe one or two of the turtles will have to pretend to be her parents.:P I can see Mikey trying to be the mom.:tlol:

After reading April's bio and now knowing she'll be being trained by Splinter, maybe she'll be living with the turtles in this new series?

She could be, but I read something from the Mutation in Progress that she'll be living in an antique shop like the Miragecomics/4kids show. Of course, they could change it.

How do you know this? We know almost nothing about the storylines of the series. Stop jumping to conclusions based on... well... the zero evidence you have.
To be honest though I don't think it's that important. I never gave thought to whether or not it occurred in multiple incarnations, and even still - new show, new universe, new rules.

After how much he cross dressed in the 4Kids series this seems way too probably to me :tlol:
