:tgrin:All right! My very first custom! It’s not really a custom, but it’s more like an enhancement.:twink:
Now, I've recently seen the figures for the new series premiering this year on Nickelodeon. They look awesome, but I'm not going to spend my money on the big shell storage turtles. They look cool, but the action figures will be worth the purchase. So then I thought, "Wait. What if I customized my big 2k3 Leo figure into the one we'll be seeing soon? This could save me some cash.":tidea:
So I did it. Don't get me wrong. The 2k3 Leo is cool, but it was time to spice things up. If I can't accept that it looks like the Michael Sinterniklaas one, I knew it would be a good idea to make a change. I decided to go "Jason Biggs" for this one.:twink:
It's the same figure, except I wrapped Leo's palms, wrists, ankles, and feet. How I got the tissues to hold onto his body was not that difficult. I used scotch tape to hold some of it down. It worked, but it may be losing its stick right about now. No problem. I'll just get more. The tissues are kind of ripped out a little, so don't be surprised if you see little pieces sticking out. This is not a perfect custom, but one I felt would be great to share.:tcool:
Now his eyes. I looked, and then it came to me. I like my turtles with pupils. So what I did the next day was cut tiny circles from blue paper, drew black dots in the center of the paper with a pen, and glued them onto his white eyes. Unbelievable, isn't it.:tsmile: When you look at the photo, it's funny. It does look like I painted them, but I went in another direction.
So what do you guys think? I love how it turned out.:tcool:

Looks like 2k12 Leo ''All grown up''.
Huh! I'm actually pretty impressed by how you did the eyes -- that's very clever and looks a lot easier than painting them. I've heard of people printing/drawing eyes on sticker paper and doing that, but your simple method is wonderfully refreshing. Good job. :)
As for the tissue paper, that's cool too... but yeah, doesn't sound very sturdy in the long run. I'd actually recommend using medical tape or real cloth wraps (with some glue at the ends) if you want a simpler method without paint. Otherwise, you can wrap it up with anything (I've used electrical tape in the past) and then paint it as you like.

Looks like 2k12 Leo ''All grown up''.
It is kind of a like a grown up Leo, now that you mention it.:tidea: Do you like it?

First off, I just want to say thank you. I had no idea my idea for the eyes was new. Glad you like it!:tgrin:
All right, guys! Get ready! Here is the TMNT Leonardo 2k12 Nick Custom Figure: New and Improved!:tsmile:
I took your advice, Wes. I decided to head to one of my grocery stores to find some medical tape, and I bought the Nexcare - Gentle Paper Tape down at the First Aid aisle. For one thing, I think I used up almost the whole thing. There isn't much more left.:tlol:So, the positive part is I put so much tape on him, and it is completely sticking. It won't be ripping apart like the tissues this time. The only problem is that with the tape all over his ankles and feet, I can't really move his feet to point in another direction. Still, I love how it turned out. Thanks, Wes. I appreciate it.:tsmile:

Sure! Help yourself! I love looking at other people's customs, too.:tgrin:

For the bandages, I used Nexcare white medical tape I bought at the store. After looking at the pics of Leo again for the new toon, now and then it seems he's really wearing light tan bandages, but I guess it is easy enough to say they are white since it resembles that color.:twink:

:tgrin:Hey, guys! Just to let you know, here are more pictures of Leo, but this time in front of a desktop background. If anyone asks, all I did was copy this image of the 2k12 characters onto a folder where it could be used for a desktop background for a few others.
Hope you like them.:tsmile:

Hey guys! Check it out! New images I've taken. The first one is with my Avengers action figures as if the turtle was getting his picture taken with them. This picture was done by the time I saw Avengers and first opened up the toys. I couldn't help myself. I thought it would be cool to add them there. I even love how Hulk and Loki came out. They appear like they are getting into a huge fight. It's strong green man vs. "puny god.":tlol:
The last two are pictures I took yesterday. The second one here is just Leo doing a pose after he leapt from a building or something. The last one is him with Matrix style.:twink: If you know the scene where Neo is dodging bullets, think of it when you see this picture.:tcool:
Hope you like them all.:tsmile:

Nah! I wanted him to have white bandages. I thought he was going to have them in that color, but it turns out the new incarnation of the leader is wearing light tan.:tlol:
