TMNT Season 10 DVD question.

Does anybody think they'll include the missing episodes from the series like "Once Upon a Time Machine" or the "Planet of the Turtleoids" special on the Season 10 dvd when it comes out? I hope so, so we would be able to have all the episodes. I think it may happen, I mean look at the Vacation in Europe side season, they included it with the Season 7 dvd even though it had aired in the earlier seasons. I think that since this will be the last season of the OT to release on dvd and given how short Season 10 is, there shouldn't be a problem adding "Once Upon a Time Machine" or the "Planet of the Turtleoids" as extras.

Thank you for releasing season 9 of the 1987 TMNT series this past summer. :) I'm definitely looking forward to the season 10 set.

To make the show complete, I ask that you please release along with all season 10 episodes, the episodes "Planet of the Turtleoids" and "Once Upon a Time Machine". Both are from season 5 and haven't been released yet on DVD; the former was originally an hour-long special but was eventually aired again during the show's regular time slot as a two-parter, while the latter is season 5's second episode.

Please release these two (three, depending on how you look at it) episodes along with all of season 10 so that the show may be complete. :D

Season 10 will probably come out this fall to coincide with the release of the classic figures from Playmates and also around the time the Nick show starts.

Remember Season 9 was released when the IDW comics started in 2010. It seems Lionsgate plans their releases around the next big Turtle event.

I thought that I've read that Lionsgate is maintaining that they haven't missed any episodes. I'd provide a link to this claim if I could find it.

We really shouldn't assume anything at this point. Keep in mind half of season 10 is already on the first DVD release so Lionsgate might just do one final DVD just with all the unreleased episodes and deem it The Final Volume. At this point though I could really care less what they do, unless they add like a bunch of awesome special features!

Lionsgate likely doesn't even remember there are Season 10 eps on the first DVD.

They'll probably just re-release all 8 episodes on a final disc.

I feel that since Planet of the Turtleoids was aired both as a single, long episode and two separate, regular episodes, Lionsgate may have been confused about how to present those episodes (though the to be continued... would have been more logical for consistancy purposes), along with confusion if Once Upon a Time Machine should belong to Season 4 or 5 (since Plan Six was also on the last Season 3 disc). It was just some executive meddling that caused the failure to get those three Season 5 episodes on DVD. And I see no problem with re-releasing those 4 episodes from Volume 1, since Plan Six from Outer Space was rereleased.

I bet they'll put out a barebones DVD release when TMNT is popular this Fall, then sell the rights to Nickelodeon. At which point I'd expect Nick to do a full series release for a 100+ dollars.

I own the episodes too but that's a terrible attitude to have. A lot of people don't have them and it's just incompetence that they weren't included in the first place.

Yea I know that, but at this point our complaints just fall on deaf ears anyway so what's the point in bringing it up time and time again? Except DVDs don't deteriorate from repeat viewings and if you're not a moron you can make disks last a very long time. My Dad still has CDs from the 80s that still play like they're brand new. Some disks can last up to 300 years.

Right so why should they ever release that Elton John album again on CD? I mean plenty of people like you still have cassette tape players right? They still put cassette tape players in cars. Cassettes can be played in computers too, you can easily rip them for use with an ipod. No. I look down on old tech that is garbage. Vinyl records aren't garbage and while completely out dated they're at least collectors items and still being produced to this day. VHS tapes are not, and for good reason.

They were always crap. We're not talking Laser Disk here. We're talking a format that burns itself out. I had TMNT tapes of mine that broke when I was a kid from watching them too much. I can't even watch any of my tapes from childhood. They all look horrid because I've worn the them out. So saying episodes of the series shouldn't be released on DVD simply because you can acquire VHS copies is just silly. VHS tapes would only last a long time if you never watched them, which defeats the purpose of owning it if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the missing episodes and the rest of season 10 released on DVD someday (whether or not they re-release the season 10 episodes already on DVD is of no concern to me) but I'm not gonna spend every minute here on this forum pissing and moaning about it like CyberCubed does.

I too just want the seven remaining episodes yet to be released but my concern is proper releases of TMNT(2003) season 3, the first 12 of season 4, and season 7. Hopefully one day it will happen. I avoided the season 3 and early season 4 volumes in hopes of season halves or full season and then it stopped churning out.:tgrumble: Ah,wel. That's life. We will get one of all of it one day. For now its youtube and what ever has been personally recorded of all that.
