The originial 1987 TMNT theme song I always thought it sounded like Leonardo's voice that sings the theme song, but since Leonardo and Rocksteady are voiced by the same voice actor and singing about the turtles and says "Leonardo leads" I thought it seemed like it would be Rocksteady singing in horror screaming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" Could it be that Rocksteady sings the TMNT theme song? Does anyone know for sure who sang it?

Well Cam Clarke actually is a singer, but it wasn't him
Possibly could have been Chuck Lorre and/or D.C. Brown, but I don't know. Probably some no-name who worked in the Fred Wolf music department.

Chuck did the turtle voices in the theme (That's a fact, Jack!) but not the singing, I know that much...

This is off the record but...
I'd like to hear Puffy Amiyumi lend their vocals to the original theme song.
It just sounds so perfect in my head.

That article is slightly confused, and still doesn't say who actually sang the song. Just says that it was Chuck did the turtles voices.

Interesting that it would be Chuck Lorre I didnt really know who he was but 2 and a Half Men was one of my favorite sitcoms and I remember there's an episode of 2 and a Half Men where Charlie is playing the original TMNT theme on his piano and I think he sings it also. So I guess that would make sense a little inside joke. Also I thought the turtle voices on the song such as "We're really hip!" was Donatello's voice but I guess not. I wonder what it would sound like if Chuck Lorre was to sing the TMNT theme song today.

You would expect a successful band to not have one?
