Who would you like to see from the classic toon?

I think it'd be funny to see Vernon and Irma in the new series as high school kids. They don't have to be like recurring characters but I would love to see them make an appearance at some point.

The Punk Frogs were my favorite allies. They were fun,funny,and cool, not to mention have potential for future use! I get to see my other favorite allies Casey Jones and Usagi but not the Punk Frogs. Its time we see them again in some form!

Slash is a favorite of the villains! He is psychopathic yey sympathetic. he is a fun cahracter and a good cahracter study. My signature should explain that.:tlol: I perferred the Archie Comics crazzed anti-hero over the mentally challenged mutated pet of Bebop and hope the Archie incarnation inspires future usage of the character.


Those are the main ones of them all. It would be nice to see Bebop and Rocksteady and the Channel Six crew in some form but if I get the Punk Frogs and Slash I will be very happy!:D

I really don't want to see a high school setting. Its not like the TMNT are in school so just references if they make April go. Burne Thompson can always be the pricipal or perhaps the head of the local news that is on the trail of the TMNT trying to prove they are real or have a campaign against them.

Fans are seemingly calling the HS the Nick equivalent of the Channel 6 building. How about Charles Pennington as the assistant principal? :lol: But from the classic series (including 4kids), I'd also like to see:

*Zack and Caitlin as HS students if done at the HS
*Lotus Blossom/Karai
*Friendly utroms
*Mona Lisa
*Triceratons
*Tokka and Rahzar
*Kerma the turtleoid

I would always like to see a new take on Lord Dregg, but not as a main villain. A recurring villain from the stars would be interesting.

Lord Dregg taking on a Bishop-like role might also be interesting.

I agree, I don't want a school setting for TMNT. It still feels more like a joke to me. Characters like April and Irma are supposed to be people who can help the TMNT by going where they can't go, not being children. Channel 6 was nice because a news station had computers and other stuff that gave April and Irma some access to information about people and society in general.

And CyberCubed, isn't Krang already counted as a "recurring villain from the stars"?

Agreed, as I don't want the show to become "Saved By The Bell: the Sewer Years." But I'd be fine with Irma as a classmate or a peer of April's, or something like that. Other than her, Traag and a non-lame version of Slash, those would be my choices. Everyone else I would want, like Bebop and Rocksteady, are bound to show up eventually, anyway.

Meanwhile, I'll cross my fingers for the "Casey as the gym coach" plotbunny. Hilarity would definitely ensue from that.

Nobody said that. Its just now with the DVDs the episodes are more available to people then before, where the previous only way to see them is to search the internet for downloads from people's VHS tapes from the 90's.

As long as we get cheap teen drama, I'm sold. "It goes there...," but does it really? And my secret shame was that I watched Degrassi, and then I became sane, again, and stopped.

Anyway, it would never happen but seeing Mona Lisa in there would be both cute and amusing. Mostly, as she was an interesting character, and to see how many people would explode with delight or rage with her appearance. Heh.

No no no,we don't need mobsters in the new series.The mobsters from the old toon reminded me too much of the villians from Dik Tracy.As for Mona Lisa,I would love to see her back.I thought she was an interesting character.Hey for a character that only had one appearance and had an action figure made of her by Playmates is amazing.Sense Eastman and Laird sold the rights to Nick,it could happen.Though doubtful.

I'd like to see most of the Mutants back- Mona Lisa, Mondo Gecko, Dirtbag, the punk frogs, etc. I'd like to see the old characters who were ignored for 2K3 brought back out of mothballs, and dusted off for reuse.
