I remember back when Peter Laird was publishing TMNT Volume 4 and Tales of the TMNT Volume 2, I wrote him (via Dan Berger) several times and got a good 5 or 6 letters published. I've written a couple times to IDW over the past couple months, but as of yet I haven't gotten a letter published. I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that IDW is a more mainstream comic book publishing company while Mirage Studios has always been an underground type. That being said, I'm a little worried some long time fans of the original comics won't get their voices heard.

I know of several members here, including myself, who have had their letters get a reply. Maybe the stuff you are asking was asked first by someone else or maybe you question isn't worth answering.

I say just give it time. They don't seem to prefer one type of letter over the other, with the exception of maybe telling how you're a long time fan and love the new series. But I'm guessing they get a lot of those.

Good luck on getting published. I may write one day down the road to tell them they're awesome. And to show off my eventual TMNT tattoo.

I dunna. I've read the letters column and I've seen a lot of familiar names...including my own.

Considering Bobby and Tom Waltz generally reply to a lot of the questions posted on the forums, its not like letters being published in the book is the only way to ask them stuff.

True, but they don't print those answers... ;)

When writing to Ninja Notes, make sure your letter sounds a little like this:

"Wow guys, all I have to say is wow. Thanks so much for bringing back my fave green guys in all the world, I have been a fan since 1992!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Are you gonna bring back Irma? Much luv to Tom Waltz and Kevin Eastman, they are totally radical. Pizza Power!!!!!!"

I did ask them if there's any chance we'll get to see Mondo Gecko or any of the other Mutanimals. Maybe I'll get my letter published eventually.
