Long time watcher/viewer, but very infrequent poster here...as least a long time ago I used to post more often. Didn't want to stray too much into the "Bay/aliens" thing...I guess one of the things I'm more curious is, how do you guys think they'll handle the fight sequences in this movie?

Granted, I know there's talk about using technology similar to what they used in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", but it still makes one wonder what they will go far in this route.

The fight scenes are still nice in the original films, but will they still go that route or will they try to update it for the new stage of action films (ala a lot of quick cuts/shaky cam similar to The Bourne Identity, etc.)...

There's a lot of ways that it could go, as one of the great things about the turtles to me is that there's a great, large spectrum of variety...from the gritty/dark edge of the comics to the more kid-friendly take on action scenes (in other words, there's one end of the spectrum like the recent flick The Raid aka The Raid: Redemption, and yes I know they'll NEVER go that route...unfortunately...and the other end is fights scenes similar to movies like The Pacifier with Vin Diesel).

So what are your guys' take on it...both on what you THINK they'll go for, as well as you can add your 2 cents as to what you would LIKE for them to go for.

Of course...in my dreams, I would wish Raphael (yeah, he's my fave...and yes I know it'll NEVER happen) to have a scene similar to the one below (again..I know it won't happen...only in my dreams):

I hope not. I hope we get real ninjas.

I'm expecting mo-cap and CG replacement for fight scenes.

The Turtles actually being able to use their weapons. If the Foot Ninja are going to be like the OT Foot Soldiers, no doubt there's going to be Bayformers level of brutality there. As for human opponents like the Purple Dragons, they can be piled up in a bloody mess as long as there aren't body parts everywhere.

I'm anxious to see Wrath of the Titans so I can get a better sense of Liebesman's directing style, 'cause so far all I've seen of his is Battle Los Angeles and if that is any indication of what to expect: Do. Not. Want.

I'm hoping for realism. Blood, weapons. Blood on weapons. Perhaps some high-flying acrobatics here and there but nothing too ridiculous. CGI that isn't so smooth and pretty to the point where it looks completely fake.

Of course...in my dreams, I would wish Raphael (yeah, he's my fave...and yes I know it'll NEVER happen) to have a scene similar to the one below (again..I know it won't happen...only in my dreams):

Either way, I foresee our very first PG13/12A rated TMNT film.

Ernie Reyes Jr. and Scott Mednick, and Galen Walker held the casting call for the TMNT movie back in 09 for the 25th shellabration. Maybe because they were considering him for fight choreographer at the time. He choreographed all of Keno's and Donatello's(in the first) moves. The last thing he choreographed was his Indiana Jones fight scene as a cemetery.

If that were the case I think the action would be sick.
