Digital Ghost's Fan Art

[Digital Ghost]

Evenin' my fellow dromers!
I just thought I'd create a thread to share my TMNT sketches and the like...

I only ever sketch with pen (been this way for nearly 20 years) and these days, usually while I'm bored at work, (as I work really long hours) so I'm not really a perfectionist about it. "Why only with pen," you ask? Wise man say, One tends to make less mistakes when one knows they can't erase 'em! :twink:

Besides, in my opinion, the TMNT look the best when the art is gritty and imperfect.

Anywho, Enjoy!
And let me know what you think... perhaps it'll keep me motivated.

Alrighty, here's one to kick things off...

I like it. And the fact that you only sketch in PEN is admirable. Seems like you got the shading stuff down. That's something I have trouble with. That, action poses, and muscle lines.

Keep'em coming. I enjoy seeing other peoples art. Seeing others draw all the time, as well as comments on my thread, keep me going, too. I'm working on something right now, that I will post either later tonight or sometime in the morning.

Good work, and keep up the sketches. Try out some full body stuff if you feel comfortable with it. Hell, even if you don't, do it anyway. I'll comment away no matter what.

Wow. That's an awesome drawing, DG. I really like it and admire that you're doing it in pen. Keep them coming.

Dude, that is epic!!!

[Donnie]

Lovin' it! Keep em comin

[Digital Ghost]

Thanks all, I truly appreciate the comments. :tsmile:
Anyway, I had some spare time on my lunch break today, so I drew up two quick sketches.

To continue with the turtle close-ups:

I googled a photo of Krang and basically drew it... I don't usually do this, as it lacks personal style but what the hell.

And I wasn't going to post this funny doodle I drew in like 5 mins (for obvious reasons) but oh well, this is what happens when you get proportions ALL wrong, lol. The more I think about it, it's like South Park meets TMNT. :trazz:

I agree. There's few things more frustrating than ****ing up in pen. . .

This is cool stuff! I like how clean it came out, despite the permanence of the medium.

[BubblyShell22]

Oooh, I love both Leo pics. So cool.

[Digital Ghost]

When I started drawing the close-ups, I wanted to have 'em together. :tsmile:
