Well this actually managed to get me a bit worked up for the Leonardo special. Let's see what comes of it. Seems like a great team.

I am really looking forward to this issue. Those preview pages look awesome.

I just figured I'd include the link to Ross's original post on this interview:

Because I thought Ross' self-deprecating humor at his own turtle-nerdiness was funny.

Ross is awesome. After seeing his Leo art on his DevArt account, I can't help but think the Leo MircoSeries is gonna become an Instant Classic in TMNT lore.

No doubt! Ross is the man. This is going to be the best Micro, hands down.
Still wish he was picked for the ongoing, regardless how good people say Duncan is. Ross is better for Turtles.

I wish there was more of a preview there. It kind of looks like Leonardo is just sorta shoving/throwing the Foot soldiers around.

Yeah, Kevin Eastman's doing it this year though.

Either of them work for me... Whats the last turtle book Eastman has done, drawing wise?

I agree with that. Also, he's fantastic at composition, I love the way he tells the stories.

Duncan's art in the first few issues wasn't anything to write home about but issue #8 looked awesome and he's likely going to continue to improve.
However they did say Dan is going to take a break around issue 13 or so for vacation so maybe Ross can fill in his place for one or two issues.

My spidey-sense is telling me we've got an epic tickle fight on our hands!

Did they specifically say "this year"? I thought it was kind of a "When it's done" deal.
If it's what I think it is, then it's going to be pretty badass.

I can't recall why, but I was under the impression that it was going to be out before summer's end.
