Nope. Didn't color any eggs, but those are pretty cool.

It's easy to do since a standard Paas set contains green food coloring, along with a red, orange, blue, and green die. But since Easter often falls in April, why don't you dip one in yellow and create some red around one side for Ms. O'neil?

You can try it wothout kids.

True. It's just that I haven't colored eggs in probably 9 years plus, and so children would give me the excuse to try it when I paint eggs for them to find.
