I can understand that, Scott Williams is Baxter's voice in my brain when I read the IDW books. I know LaMarr is awesome, and I love him, but those are big shoes. So I also agree with Vaughn and Cubed.

Seriously, though, LaMarr usually does good work (except for his Gambit in Wolverine and the X-Men, but that's a rarity), so I do feel better about his playing Baxter. And, like you, I have been relating 2003's Baxter's voice whenever I read him, lately, but it will be a quick enough transition. Or, depending on how smug Nicktoon Baxter will be, as 2003 Baxter's voice actor was superb at conveying Baxter's innate smugness.

I can actually see that happening. My guess is that Baxter will be a mix of both. I could see Baxter as April's teacher, or, they could make it where April goes to work for him after her parnets are kidnapped and she uncovers the Mouser plot.

This is a really awsome idea, Jester. I think Baxter being a genius stuck with the job of teaching kids who don't have passion what so ever for the topic is cool! Like you said, April would be the only student who actualy is interested in the subject. That would make things really awkward when April figures out Stockman is a villain. I can totally see something like this happening!

I've been checking out Phil's credits on IMDB, VoiceChasers and Wikipedia, and I have to say I am blown away by how talented this dude is! He's played Green Lantern, Hermes Conrad, Ollie Williams and so many others. I never knew he was so many of my favorite characters!

I don't remember seeing it. I thought it was just those lucky few back in at March 2011 that got to see a character design. Have a link to Baxter Stockman in a mech suit? So he is going to be a cyrborg this time again?

Not sure I'll be able to find a link to the gallery again, but there was a picture of him shown at Toy Fair with the toys. There was also a picture of Metalhead (was next to his prototype), a sketch of Leatherhead, and a picture of something apparently referred to as Snakeweed.
