I pity anyone that's baka enough to get spyware installed, duh :dead: i got kazaa lite and ad-aware so i dun' have any spyware anymore, and of course there's also grokster and imesh and stuff...gosh, kazaa already got more than 100 million downloads :o

Hehehe...i haven't seen this thread but i was browsing the forums then i saw this and i wanted to reply :lol: but yeah, i don't want any ambicious company using MY pc for their own stuff, so i got the clean kazaa version and removed all the spyware

And yes, this time I WILL put up my stories up. Dang it, the way my hours are, my brothers puterholism, and lack of techno stuff, i've got a whole bunch of chapters done, just not up yet. I'll have to have a big grand opening or something.......

There *is* a version that has no spyware, it's called kazaa-lite ( www.kazaa-lite.tk )
The official version of kazaa ( www.kazaa.com ) still does use spyware, however...so if you still want to use kazaa but don't want to have spyware i would recommend you to unninstal kazaa, get ad-aware, ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ ), scan for spyware, then install kazaa-lite.
That's what i did, since kazaa's still useful to me :goofygri:

thanks!!! i never knew how about all this stuff until now. i installed ad-aware and there was soooo many of those stupid spyware and such installed on my computer. now i understand why my computer is always loading whenever i'm not doing anything or when i close all the freakin' programs on my computer and why my computer runs much slower at some points. thanks a lot, nicko!!

Well, i used a program to recover deleted files, but it didn't *always* worked...i'm gonna post the name of it when i found it again, but i'm not sure if it'll work because the clusters the episodes used now may be occupied by some other file...in that case the eps will be long gone :dead:

Ok i found the program, it's called directory snoop...you can download it from here http://www.briggsoft.com/download/ds95.exe or go to the official site here http://www.briggsoft.com/dsnoop.htm
It will only work for 25 days and then you have to uninstall it or buy it...or *cough*find a crack for the program*cough* but since you are only trying to recover those files i guess it'll be enough time...i hope it works :oops:
