What everyday items remind you of the TMNT?

I thought of this as I was taking a shower this morning. I opened up a new bottle of soap, and it was bright lime green. I immediately thought "It's OOZE!"

So, what are some everyday items that remind you of the Ninja Turtles? (Besides pizza. :twink:) It can even be a personal association, too. Maybe you ate Cap'n Crunch every Saturday morning while watching the Turtles, so now Cap'n Crunch reminds you of them. Share your stories! :tgrin:

(Side-note: The soap was "Axe Twist". Has a nice scent, plus the bonus of getting to pretend to slime yourself with ooze. :tlol:)

Ha! That is some slick looking shampoo. I bet you could make a killing on eBay if you bottled it up in reproduction TGRI canisters to sell to TMNT fans. I might have just given ThinkGeek their next product idea.

This is kind of lame and obvious, but whenever I see manhole covers I think of TMNT. Same goes for pre-9/11 pics of the NYC skyline.

I don't know if there's any common, everyday objects that remind me of TMNT, but I definitely think of the Turtles when listening to certain types of music, like old school hip hop, r&b & some early '90s pop. Like anything by Technotronic or Cathy Dennis, for example, since they were on the soundtracks.

Yeah. I think I had some kind of compilation CD from the late '90s/early '00s that had that song, plus Limp Bizkit, Faith No More & others. Those were my drunken college days, so I don't remember it too well.

The nunchuck candle, my brother cousin and I used to get in trouble all the time with those. My aunt had a fancy mirror in her living room with a bunch of them hanging from it. We used to grab them and use them as nunchucks and she would flip on us. Haha

When I was just a little boy (I'm a big boy now) I was once sitting with some cousins in the back of my uncles van, which had orange carpet. I pulled out one of the carpet strands and anthoer one was attached to it with some glue or something and it looked just like little nunchucks.

well being that i'm from nyc..alot of things lol...seeing rats in the subway (splinter), manhole covers, pizza (obviously). Passing by an area that i use to visit a lot during my childhood. The reason being is that this area had a lot of stores that sold ninja turtle toys.

That's true, maybe they do see them every day and practices MARTIAL arts with them, but when I think of 'everyday items', I think of things that you can pick up in a grocery store or things you see around your community.

But whatevs, if TMNT-Leonardo sees nunchucks everyday, then good enough for them.
