Hey, Friends!
Just a quick TMNT #10 teaser image before the weekend kicks off. Lots of cool action coming your way, and Karai and the Foot Clan are right smack dab in the middle of it all!
Take care!

We see two different designs for the Foot Clan soldiers. I will assume there are different types like in the video games and in the 2003 cartoon among others just as it seems in the image?

No. Not like the video games.
And #10 will be the third issue in a row we've seen the two different types of Foot Soldiers... where have you been?

That would be great but probably another ten days. That is what sucks about comics. One every 30 days instead of 7 like for an episode on television. I am curious how the Foot divisons are this time. By weapon or a hiarchy?:shifty:
Thanks, Tom! (I'm a Thom too, but I have that "h" hangin' in there.) I'm loving this series!!!

I think training to become Elite guards is more likely.

Not until I see a yellow foot soldier carrying an oversized boomerang.

Pertaining to... ? Are you comparing the IDW Foot to Mirage Foot?
In Mirage the normal "ninja-looking" Foot were common Foot soldiers, while the Shredder-looking ones with the large, round hats were members of the higher-ranking Shredder Elite Guard, and later the spindly ones with straw hats wer eFoot mystics, a separate rank.

Surprised no one's mentioning how awesome Karai looks in this panel. That outfits quite nice, I especially like the red wrap around her entire midsection. Though I will say her body looks a little stretched.

I wonder if we'll see Hun, Tatsu, and Khan all working for the Shredder, along with Karai and the eventual Bebop and Rocksteady being mutated by the Foot. Then later on Rahzar and Tokka.
It'd be like all of Shredder's henchmen all together for the first time.

It didn't matter which incarnation the character was from, whether it was Bebop and Rocksteady from the cartoons, Tatsu from the first movie, or Tokka and Rahzar from SoTO, everyone and everything from all versions of the Turtles worked for Shredder!

I would have to agrue that point. It has always been the Other Media for me when it comes to TMNT. The clone worm concept while out there can be overlooked and still think "hey its Shredder" and the plot moves forward with an alive Shredder. With the Ch'rell concept to me just like The Slayer and its not really him. Its a whole different character instead of a human supervillain that is goes by the alias The Shredder but just a character that is using the Shredder's name. The clone worm simply can overlooked and the plot moves forward with the same old Shredder. Andrew and I disagree on pretty much everything but this would be a GREAT way to have The Shredder be around for centuries and remain human with reincarnation not involved. I can completely see it within the realm of possibliity basing it on what we have seen so far.
Τhis will never happen. Shredder has different henchmen in evry universe. Not really almost all his henchmen have appeared in at least two or more universes. You got Bebop and Rocksteady in Fred Wolf, Archie, and now IDW. Stockman in Fred Wolf, Archie, 4Kids and Dreamwave. Tokka and Razhar in the movies and Turtles Forever. Hun in 4Kids and Dreamwave. Karai in 4Kids and now IDW. The Elite, Shredder Clones, and Foot Mystics in both Mirage and 4Kids.

Nah. If they introduce the Utroms, later on you could see Ch'rell leading a batch of evil Utrom cultists, like those evil Utroms you saw in Tales V. 2.
Remember Ch'rell only took over Shredder's identity when he was on Earth. Before that he was a ruthless war criminal who terrorized as an Utrom.

I dunna, I wouldn't mind a sniviling, Starscream-esque Ch'rell. A lieutenant who would love to take command of Krang's operation...or...maybe he could be ABOVE Krang.
As to the whole Torrinon, Kako Naso, Duke Acureds stuff, THAT would have made an awesome episode of the 4kids series. One of the biggest missed opportunities of the series.*
*Great, now I have the germ of an idea for a new 4kids thread...if it hasn't been done already

I thought it would be cool if General Blanque was the dictator of the Neutrinos. It just seems to work better than Chr'ell. The idea of Chr'ell and Krang interacting at more even level opposed to that brief bit in the Turtles Forever in the enlarged bodysuits might work but I hope Chr'ell is stuck in the 2003 cartoon iteration.

Great, now he's "Final Friday" Jason Voorhees. In which case, make Shredder an unkillable worm-created zombie, and double bonus.
Anyway, Ch'rell vs. Krang would be awesome, but they should be equals. Because I can't buy one serving the other with their respective egos. However, the idea of someone higher-up than Krang in Dimension X is appealing..., and reminds me of Lord Zedd to Krang's Rita Repulsa before he turned Al Bundy. Then again, that was what Dregg was originally for.
