Compared to the original too, it will be darker, a little more mature, while still having the fun loving turtles from original toon. i also think i will like it better, action wise.

Compared to the Next Mutation i think it will be ALOT better, and not as kiddish, more darker too.

Compared to the 4kids series I think it will be less darker, more kiddish, not as dark, but more funnier. I don't think it will be as good, but i do think it will be a good show

As you can see I like the 4kids version the most, and the Next Mutation the least. All in all i can't wait for the series to air. so go on, now you answer the questions for your self, you can simpley say it will be better, worse etc, or you can explain your reasoning like me, and remember, this is just a prediction, so go on, let the answering begin!!! :tgrin:

I always wanted to be slimed. I've really thought about cutting a 50 gallon barrel in half length wise. Then build a structure so I could stand under in pull a cord. That tips the barrel over and slime myself.

Compared to the original toon it will be....... not as good (its nickelodeon)

Compared to the Next Mutation it will be... WAY BETTER!!!

Compared to the 4kids series it will be.... Not as good or dark....



But who knows, I might be wrong, and the show might be great….. I’m just not “feeling” it with the new animation style… I think it looks more childish than ever…. I don’t like most nickelodeon cartoons anymore. I will watch it though, and hope for the best!!!!:D

naa man, it's an old secret that we CG animators don't actually make anything in CGI. it's all dudes in costumes, rendered in a cell shaded filter in post.

Based on what I currently know about the show, this is what I would say:

-Compared to the original toon it will be more serious, but still have an element of comedy.

-Compared to the Next Mutation it will be something worth watching and possibly owning on DVD.

-Compared to the 4kids series it will be more comical, but still have some seriousness to it.

Then again the show could be different than what I'm expecting it to be, so it might end-up either more serious or more comical. That said, no matter what the show is like, I doubt I would change my middle statement. Other than changing the "possibly" part to "definitely".

There is no way in hell that April in TMNT was SMG, April had way more meat on her bones :tgrin:



And I don't wanna predict how this show will be compared to the other series till we see more previews. 5 seconds of animation and some stills aren't enough for me to predict the quality of the show.
