My local comic book shop has made me feel unwelcome on more than several occasions, so I'm resorting to the internet for my TMNT needs. Does anybody here recommend an online retailer?

mycomicsshop.com has most TMNT issues.

^ Def, and don't forget Mile High Comics, too!

Backups is Midtown, GrahamCrackers.

Personally I use mycomicshop more than any, followed by MHC.

I've used Things From Another World for the IDW series since it began. No complaints so far!

Never hurts to get 'em from the source either, if you're looking for older TMNT stuff. www.miragelicensing.com

If you buy lots of comics, Discount Comic Book Service (dcbservice.com) is the best site ever.

You get at least 40% off of ALL COMICS, including trades and hardcovers.

All you have to do is place your order in advance (over a month in advance).

But if you buy a lot of titles, it simply can't be beat.

And if you don't, it's still pretty amazing. For new issues, that is.

For back issues, the best places have already been mentioned.

I buy my issues online from Gammaraycomics. Great prices and awesome shipping practices. Everything comes in mint.

I second this recommendation. Their employees are active on their forum and very helpful. Plus you're not locked into preorders like most online comic stores.

I just switched over to Discount Comic Book Service, there pricing can't be beat and all the comics I've received arrive in perfect condition (I make sure to get the bad + board option).

I've used mycomicbookshop.com and Midtown for back issues.

The only downside to Discount Comic Book Service is they do not have the Variant B covers which I just get from my LCS.

HeavyInk, that sounds familiar.
Oh right, I remember hearing about them. (http://cartoonboys.livejournal.com/8744.html)

That is pretty extreme

In lighter news, I can also vouch for mycomicshop
I've only ever purchased back issues from them, but I didn't check the box to add bags and boards and some of them still came which was a plus.
It took a little bit, (might be cuz i'm so used to amazon free 2 day shipping), but when it did arrive it was in good condition.

This is exactly what I do.

I have been ordering 2 of cover A, and I have always received 1 A and 1 B...so it is worth a try. You can probably just ask them too...they defiantly have them as they must order them to get the retailer incentive.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I had forgotten I posted this here. I found scifigenre.com and will be using them for now. If I don't like them I"ll try what you guys have suggested.

So the owner of heavyink has bizarre political views? I don't want to turn this into a debate but your average person thinks its okay for cops to kill dangerous criminals or for soldiers to kill alleged terrorists, one could argue that congressmen are just as dangerous. I'm not gonna state my personal views here just saying we shouldn't put a guy out of business for his, he hasn't hurt anyone after all.
