I don't know if many people know this as I could not find this anyplace in the forum, but I stumbled upon this last night and purchased issue #1, page 1. There are still a lot of awesome pages left. Just wanted to give a heads up

WOW how I wish this series was Black and White.. I wonder if IDW would rerelease this in an onmibus Black and White after a few years.

Are those Eastman versions still available? I remember reading something about them, but never saw them anywhere. You really gotta spend some time scouring the internet for TMNT stuff!

One of my favorites is up on CAF right now, somebody snagged it before I could. It's where the turtles are getting their headbands and then Splinter gives Raph his gift, in the form of new sai. I LOVE that page. It's perfect.

Sorry guys...it was the only one that interested me also. It was the only artwork left that had its own moment depicted on it. The turtles having pizza like always and then ....them getting their own identity by splinter passing them their color headband. Also All five family members appear on the page.

I feel what you're saying. I thought about snagging some of this, but I just don't like his style enough to pay those prices. I will say that it looks better in black and white than it does in color.

When it comes to commissions, I feel like the size determines the price. But as far as published pieces go, I feel like the quality of the page/characters determine the value of it. Not the size.

Happens a lot in modern comics, especially when you have a digital inker and or colorist.

Maybe Tom added the "Why" to their names after the art was drawn, and they needed to show it (like Mikey eating lettuce that isn't shown in the OA). Other than the top panel, the rest of the page is pretty spot on. Though they altered April's expression in panel 3.
