Artifact: FantaCon Magazine 1989

[wilddiverse]

Haven't done one of these in a while--

A neat magazine/program from FantaCo's 1989 Convention that's mostly bios and interviews with convention guests from the horror film industry, but does offer some treats for the Mirage Studios booster:

I love that ad for The River.

It's a shame we never saw more of the planned Laird/Bissette collaboration on Commandosaurs.

Overall, it's a cool little Mirage Studios circa 1989 time capsule. :tgrin:

Oooo, nifty!

Never seen this before.

Neat book. These were available for a while through kevineastmanstudios.com. they've since sold out, but I think the listing is still up.

Sweetness! Thanks for sharing all those awesome scans!

Awesome find. That cover is something else, I'd love to own it.

Picked up a copy of this one at a steal of a price from my local comics store last week. Didn't even remember it had some TMNT content, but the art style on the dinosaurs really jumped out to me as Mirage-ish, so I inspected it and discovered it had some TMNT history in it!

Pretty cool.

[Nortock Diab]

Very nice cover. I need to track a copy of this too.

Very cool find!

Side note, I still have the plush Turtles (the kind Eastman is pictured holding.) I actually have passed them onto my daughter.
