It's totally just a sticker. You can tell by how there's hair growing out of it.

Yes you can, if you know what to look for when looking at tattoo photos.
See the glistening that looks like water drops in the ink? That's fresh scar tissue of a recently peeled tattoo. Also, as Jester mentioned, there is hair growing through the ink....a sticker or temporary tattoo wouldn't do that.

Its real and no I think I'm going to leave it black and white. Partially because my other tattoos are really colorful and partially because I really like the B&W version of the original drawing.

The chucks are there, just kind of obscured by Raph's head. I have other tats, but not any more of the turtles.
