Hey guys this question might seem a bit noobie but this saturday theres a big convetion here in Puerto Rico and the biggest comics artist to have come to a convention here are comming. They are Greg Capullo, joe madureira, joe jusko and more.
My questions are.... How do comic books artist usually work at conventions? Do they make sketches of what ever character i want? Do they only sign comics? Do they usually charge for sketches? Do they have different costs? If someone asks for a sketch does the waiting line just have to wait hours?

Sorry if i sound like lost but like I said this is my first time.
All the info that can be provided of your expirience will be apreciated.

Every single artist is different. Bring cash and cross your fingers.

Powder is right. Every single artist is vastly different. Some artists sketch for free, others don't sketch at all or are really expensive; and everything in between.

If there is a specific creator you are looking to get art from, I would strongly suggest friending them on facebook and asking.

Definitely early is a big key. So pick your favorite one and get in line. When your towards the end of the line you can tell that they just want to finish up. All my sketchs were free, and most of the time it's a quick sketch, like a couple of minutes. I've never paid for one, but if I did, it better be really good!

Get ready for all the people dressed up as their character anime and comic book character. That will never prepare you for how many people dress up for the events, I should know as I went to my first (MCM EXPO) last Sunday.
