cat person and pi guy

I was reading volume 4 issue 11. That's the one with splinters funeral. I liked seeing the people splinter had known throughout his life. I however didn't recognize two who were standing next to each other. One was and anthromorphic cat in a robe and the other was an Android or golem of some sort with the symbol for pi on his forehead, he seemed to speak in equation and said someyhing to renet to which she responds "shhh..later". I've read the majority of mirage comics and its annoying me that I can't figure out who these two are. Can anyone help me there?

The big guy is the Golem from Tales of the TMNT. Donatello befriended a Golem from the Jewish community.

The cat person is probably from the race of cat people in the Tales 2-parter with the 4 Leo's.

Just for reference, the golem is from Tales #10 (http://miragelicensing.com/comics/mirage/talesvol2/10/10.html) and the storyline where they meet the cat people is from Tales #13-14 (http://miragelicensing.com/comics/mirage/talesvol2/13/13.html)

No telling on how they befriended the one at the funeral. When Laird did that issue, most of the characters at the funeral hadn't even been introduced yet; they were all supposed to be "untold Tales". We got most of em, just not the deal with the cat guy.

So the brief dialogue with Renet is never explained? Much like many of the things that happen in volume four.
