Who is your favorite Turtle?

So tell me, who is your favorite turtle and why? (Mine is Donatello, because he is the least violent and the brains of the bunch)

As I've stated before, my fav in my childhood was with no doubt Michelangelo.
Future inarnation of the character and my age changeing though made Mike look too much as a dump in cases. Finally reading the Mirage source material and the TMNT CG movie made me closer to Raphael, wich I'd say is now my favourite.

Flawless heroes are never interesting, so isn't Leo.

Raph is my favorite unless you're talking about the movies. I loved his smart aleck wise cracks in the original toon. But in the movies they made him more of a grump with an attitude problem. So from the movies my favorite was Donatello!

For me it is Raphael. My second favorite has always been Michaelangelo and was my very first Playmates toy back in the day. For years he was the only one of the original four turtles toys that I had. But besides the very beginning it has always been Raph.

hmmmm....tough question indeed. I'll say Leonardo has to be my all time fave, even growing up. My sister's favorite is Mikey. So any time we played the TMNT video games, that's who we played as when we were little kids. Such great memories! But I could easily say that Donnie is my favorite too. I really liked Donnie from the 80's show. Great stuff.

My favorite overall has been Leo and that will never change. But lately I am realizing how much like Mikey I am, even his nunchucks have been growing on me.

Like I've stated in the past (depending when that was:tlol:), Donatello could be my favorite, but he's too smart for me, purple is not really my favorite color, and I'd rather have katanas instead of a bo staff.

Leonardo is my ultimate favorite. For one thing, he's got the swords, the blue mask, and he's the leader. Most importantly, however, he's a hardworking, responsible, and honorable student. I like people who act like that. Besides, I find him intelligent himself, but just different from Donnie. Those are pretty much the reasons. Leo's the man!:tcool:

I dunna, Fred Wolf Donnie's inventions usually back-fired, thus making him a bit more relatable. Then again, Mirage Donnie wasn't exactly making cybermat portals, either. Come to think of it neither is IDW's Donnie. Seems the only uber-brain Donnie is 4kids, and maybe Archie's, but only after he came out of hiding and created his own tech company.

But those people don't know (figuratively speaking) the heart that Mikey has if they didn't read the comics. He's the most relatable/likable character, and it's pretty sad that the general public doesn't realize the depth that his character sometimes has, in the comics specifically.

Raphael and Leonardo. But I genrally lean more toward Raphael. :) The show would be boring without these two. Mike and Don are cool, but these two could never hold up a whole movie. Unless paired with either Raph or Leo.

Since I have yet to read the old comics (currently acquiring books), I will have to go with Sarcastic-1987. I could always relate to that about him.

It is a tough choice however. The group just would not be the same with any one of them missing.

Agreed! My affection for Raphael is not solely based on his personality. I also like his weapon and mask colour.

I guess you could have other polls for those options as well:
- What's your favorite Turtle Weapon?
- What's your favorite Turtle Mask Colour?
- etc.

I'd say my favourite Turtle is Michelangelo, his light-hearted personality always puts a smile on my face. He has such interesting vocabular, everything is mondo, tubuloso and radical - he even refers to an ice bear as Polar Dude which is one of the funniest lines I ever heard. While I watch the '87 cartoon most of the time I must say I love him in the '03 show and the live-action movies as well. :tgrin:

I like all the turtles but my favorite would have to be Michelangelo.

In the OT series because even though he was funny and made jokes or comments, he also seemed the most level-headed and relatable. I always found him the most "human" and kindest of all the turtles.

In the 2k3 series Mikey is quite a bit different, but I like him just as much. He's more hyper and goofy in this version, but that actually makes him lovable. (It wouldn't have fit as much with the OT version though) Yeah, some of his jokes fall flat, but I'm usually not annoyed with that, it speaks for his character that I just want to pull his headband (figuratively) instead of feeling annoyed.

What I like is that this Mikey also has a different side and can be level-headed/mature too. He seems smarter than he lets on, is good in picking up certain things and seems the most sociable and kindest. (Donatello --my second favorite-- is kind too, but seems less sociable)


EDIT: I really liked the 2007 Michelangelo too. He felt more innocent and naive, but his personality/character all worked out very well. I just wish he'd gotten more airtime in the movie. Leonardo and Raphael had the most time, but I actually liked Michelangelo and Donatello more.
