Wowzers. 2001. I was freshman in High School. I remember being in the school library when computers and internet was still fairly new and coming to this site from time to time just to look at some old ‘87 toon screenshots in the images section. And I would also visit the old official ninjaturtles.com site with the green background. Hard to believe it’s been 20+years.

What gets me looking through old threads is how differently people used to post back then. Like it was mostly people saying one or two lines about some random thing and people would be replying with some sort of silly joke or trying to be funny.

Forum etiquette was really weird in the early 2000's.

That's not weird, it's just from the time when people online still largely had a sense of humor and being abrasive over any little thing wasn't the default and everything didn't have to become a political argument somehow, some way. If that era was "weird" I think I'd still rather have that tone back.
