Here is what happened: I buy a ticket around 9:45. They said they would open at 12:00 pm. Turns out they didn't open the show room floor until 2:00 pm.

Everything was done last minute. Chairs, tables weren't even set up till 2:00 pm. People were setting up last minute and I know that for a fact. A friend of mine had a booth at Supercon, he gave me a badge so I can go to the show room early. Though it was empty and pretty much, all you do at a booth is help set it up, try to sell whatever it is you have there, and that's it. But it was a fun experience and I did get to talk with a friend while everyone was set up.

I didn't really buy anything. But I did get to meet and/or take pictures with certain people and here's a list of them.

Jon Schnepp: Director and co producer of Metalocalypse.

Dino Stamatopoulos: Creator, writer, director, and executive producer of Frankenhole and Moral Orel. His Moral Orel special will air this October.

Dana Snyder: Voice of Master Shake on Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Britta Phillips: Did voice work for Moral Orel such as Bloberta.

Andy Sipes: Does voice work for Code Monkeys and various characters on Saul of the Mole Men.

Billy West: Voice of Fry, Dr. Zoidberg, and Zap Brannigan on Futurama. He says at this point, this will be the last season of Futurama that is currently showing but they do tell the actors last minute about whether or not a show will be renewed.

Raven, Greg the Hammer Valentine, and Brutus the Barber Beefcake: Wrestlers of the past. Two of these guys tangled with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant.

Chad Lindberg: He was on Supernatural. He also did Fast and the Furious; the first one. He played Jesse, the blonde kid that knew about cars, drove a white car, and got shot and killed in the movie.

That's it really.

More or less...it was an interesting experience. The guys from Adult Swim had a panel and they cracked a few jokes and made us all laugh. They actually cracked a couple at me but I played along with the fun.

I don't know though if I'll go next year; I'll only go next year if,

1. My friend needs me to help him out with his booth.

AND/OR

2. Someone "famous" that I REALLY REALLY want to meet shows up there.

Have you been to a con before? That sort of environment covers pretty much all of them, even big ones like Otakon on the East Coast. Last year I wanted to go to the Touhou panel, and I walked from one side of the convention center to the other just to see a small sign on the room that says "MOVED TO SUNDAY AT 11AM!" You gotta make it up to my feet, Otakon....you gotta make it up.

Went to Super Con last year. Went to Mega Con once.

So yeah, I know how last minute changes happen like Voltaire promising to be at Mega Con and then cancelling because of weather conditions.

It's just...it was really disorganized and a lot of people there were first timers. So it's not really going to be appealing for people to show up again to a convention when the first experience is bad.
