A few days ago Kevin Eastman posted on Facebook that he's moving to Florida. So does this mean he'll no longer going to be involved in the current ongoing comic book?

It means a lot of things, but that isn't one of them.

Most people who work on comics don't always live in the same place.
I am sure he'll still visit Tom Waltz for meetings and do covers.

I wonder if his being in Florida will get him to attend east coast comic cons. Heroes Con & NYCC, they need 'im.

With today's communication technologies, this probably means a lot less than it used to. There are plenty of ways to collaborate remotely.

This won't change anything. He lived in LA anyways, and IDW is in San Diego.

I'm kinda curious as to why he's moving out of California. Most people I know would like to move TO California!

That was my first reaction!
Also,I like Powder's idea of him being able to attending the Heroes Con! That would the only way I could see him.

It's expensive to live here.

Those people don't live here. It's expensive, crowded, we have the worst drivers in the country, and language barriers are bigger here then anywhere else. Mentality of the state is also split in a weird way. North and South Cali might as well be two different states for both climate and attitude reasons.
I still love Cali but I could see that after living here for awhile he'd want out. Especially if he grew up on the East Coast.

Not to brag or anything, because I really do loathe it, but there's no way the drivers there are worse than where I live. Miami is notorious for it and with good reason.

I think we're getting a bit off topic but: I've lived in Jersey. The state of New Jersey is widely known to have the worse drivers in the country. There's a large concrete type of highway divider that you couldn't get a semi truck over called a "jersey barrier" because of the state. I have literally seen people park in the middle of the road!

Most people are convinced that where they live has the worst drivers in the country. I find myself more annoyed at driving in Minnesota (where I grew up) than in California (where I live now), but I think this is largely because Minnesotans stick closer to the speed limit than Californians. :tlol:

florida is humid. he needs to bring his butt back to mass so i can become his new bff and take the place of archon :P
and no, i dont believe it will have any effect on the comic. he'll simply scan and email just like im sure he does now.

I'm from Boston natively. I don't think the drivers are bad...they were probably just trying to kill me on purpose. But why would anyone wanna live in Florida I ask? Ever hear of deer flies? They're the devil.

YES. Yes, yes.

I don't know, I wouldn't move there. Californians are right on a transform fault, with the Juan de Fuca plate subducting to the north. It's due for a snap in the near future. I may be on an Island (that is Long), but I still feel safer given the probability of a tsunami here versus California/Oregon. I'd imagine if the plate finally "snapped", only northern Cali and Oregon would be highly affected, but still.

Oh, I'd move to California in a heartbeat. San Diego specifically. But not L.A.... I've been there and it's a smog-ridden mess.
But yeah, it's way too expensive.

So true... I loved living in North Cali because of all this, it took me a long time to get used to living in L.A and I still I don't recommend it to the faint of heart. San Diego is way more tranquil than L.A tho'.

Yeah, it is still out of MA, based on the latest HM newsletter.
Has anyone heard where in FL he moved yet? I too am a Floridian.
