HEY ALL! Yes the TMNT documentary has its own sticky thread and has had for almost 3 years. BUT I need everyone to see this post, so new thread time!

The http://www.turtledoc.com site has been re-done! Finally now after 3.5+ years!! Now it's time to put the pressure on HIGH and help us get this doc made! We need help spreading the word and helping put pressure in the right places, so the whole worlds knows how much this history means to the fans, with the new wave of TMNT hitting the screens and toy shelves, lets make sure people remember where the TMNT came from and where it has been!

Go check it out! Donate if you can, but most important check out the "how you can help" section and see what ideas come out of reading that!

ALSO IMPORTANT! There will be video blogs hitting the site on a regular basis while we are on the road from the 8th to the 19th of this month, and then periodically into the future!

Speaking of ideas to help spread the word, how about an "official" Twitter hashtag? I'd suggest #TurtleDoc to keep it simple. I spend a lot of time on Twitter and have had great success rallying people on there for other KickStarter-esque projects. I bet Rob Paulsen & other TMNT celebs would help us retweet about this too.

I would like to donate money to this documentary but I need to wait until I know I have a full-time job yet or not and I won't know until the end of this week. If I get it, then I'll donate money.

As for contacting the bigger companies; you should also mention Viacom as well. Because Viacom is actually the parent company of Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon does not have any contact info on their website, so I sent to Viacom about it.

Because I think the documentary would need Nickelodeon's permission to release it actually. I remember reading how any future release of Ninja Turtles media has to be approved by Nickelodeon now.

Say, I thought of something else. May be you can talk with people who have worked with Nickelodeon and see if they can tell you how to talk to someone higher up in Nickelodeon and Viacom to pitch your documentary.

You interviewed Rob Paulsen right cause I saw him in the teaser...he's doing the voice of Donatello on the Nickelodeon show, may be you can talk to him again about the documentary you're making and see if he can help you get to talk to Nickelodeon about it?

Cool! I emailed them (and a bunch of others) last night letting them know about it...I got a reply in my email earlier, letting me know they were going to ask the others to see if they can put it up. Turtle Power, The Definitive History Of TMNT – Needs Your Help

Turtle Power is the working title for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles documentary being put together by Isaac Elliott-Fisher, Mark Hussey and Randall Lobb. The idea for a Turtles documentary started three and a half years ago and they have been funding it themselves ever since.

The three of them have been traveling to Cons, to Festivals, and to Fan Expos filming interviews with everyone and anyone involved in the Turtles franchise over the years. Their journey began with an email sent to the CEO of Mirage, then owners of the TMNT franchise, giving them the go-ahead. Since then, Viacom has purchased the Turtles rights and the project’s momentum had slowed down. They are still shooting, they are still cutting, and they are still making the documentary out of their own pockets.

Now they need your help.

The project has been put into high gear with the release of a trailer and a new website. They will be documenting their progress with a video blog entitled “Chasing Turtles”; the first episode gives me high hopes that this project will be “the definitive history of TMNT”. ahhh, the great domino effect!!;)actually I strongly believe we're goiing to have this thing in our homes one day, and in a incredible package with lots of bonus material;)...I just send off a second letter to the ninja notes.that is the tmnt fan letters section in the ongoing idw tmnt comic book..thought it would be a perfect spot to generate more interest in tis project from people who would want to see something like that IN THE FIRST PLACE;)....

As promised we are uploading the new podcast as I type this. I am currently sitting in a casino in Vegas. We have landed and are hitting the road to grab our first interview for this trip tomorrow. Hey ya. It would be good to merge with the sticky thread. That said I don't know how and I don't like the title I have on it. To bring new dromers to the thread it would be nice if it was a new title/new sticky thread. One place for turtle doc updates that's not a three war old tread about how the doc is for real! Haha. It has been for real for a loooong time.

If you edit (advanced edit) the first post, you can change the title. You can also change how the first post looks. Once the threads are merged (by a moderator) you could link to the post (ex post 400) that mentions the updated information, etc. Much better then having two mirrored, ongoing threads.

Soooo I am ashamed to admit I'm not to savvy with this whole board thing hahaha. That and I'm really lazy/busy. Can I hire you to help me ?! Hahaha. By hire I mean no money... Don't have any of that.
