Hello everyone,
I haven't seen any discussion thread about favourite scenes, our thoughts in general or whatever pops up in our mind when we think about the first movie many of us saw in our childhood, so I thought I create a thread and hope you enjoy discussing. :)
After maybe 15 years I watched the movie again, in English for the first time. As a kid I saw the German dubbed movies lots of times, especially since our video recorder wasn't the best anymore and we couldn't switch tapes all the time so we often just watched these movies. Thought it might be nice to check them out after such a long while, and I'm glad I did. The cast they chose were superb!!! :tgrin:
The Turtles are so cute that it's just ADORABLE to see them dance and laugh and eat pizza. <3333 Hilarious how Master Splinter shared his wisdom with them and Michelangelo was calling pizza delivery.
Seeing him chained up in Shredder's hideout was really sad, but offering an ear to Danny was a very touching moment as well as the contact through the fire that wouldn't have been possible if he hadn't been captured. Interesting how many people Shredder had fooled by making them believe they were a family, he is definitely a skilled manipulator...
I love April's drawings a lot, was such a nice idea to add them to the film. It must be wonderful to be capable of drawing whom or what you have encountered on your journey through life. That said, a shame they don't exist for real to teach us a few of their ninja moves. :trazz:
