My favorite character in the IDW series should be obvious. Old Hob is hands down my favorite character right now in that run of comics. I like the dynamic he added to the Turtles origin. The fact that he separated them for a year and has constantly been a thorn in their sides just makes him interesting to me. The sole reason he doesn't like them is because Splinter stopped him from getting a meal.

It goes to the basic animal tendencies. There is no great life changing rivalry, no huge backstory. He choses to hate and fight them himself, not because he was told to or for any other reason then he does.

Ha! It might be a little confusing, but I could only suppress my childhood for so long. Donatello was always my favorite from the moment I was old enough to pick a favorite, I went on a kick with Mikey and mistook that for favoritism. But it'll always be Donatello, from here on in.

Others I love:Slash,Leatherhead,Rat King,Bishop and Bebop are all awesome villains

Love Genhis Frog,Casey Jones,and Maymato Usagi are grear reoccuring allies!

Well,I did not want to leave any of my favorties out! You can see I like the character set of the '87 cartoon. :tlol: However, Bishop creeps in there and Usagi and Slash are better off elsewhere(2003 cartoon and Archie comics respectively).

Since I posted in the least favorite character thread a breakdown of the characters I don't like in different versions of the TMNT, I figured I should post a list here.

OT - My favorite in the OT would have to be Krang simply because of you pay attention to what he actually says he is quite sadistic. Even when they made him more comical his actual lines are quite dark. It would have been interesting to see the direction they could have gone with him if they hadn't been censored so much.

Mirage - Casey Jones would have to be my favorite character from the Mirage comics. Something about the evolution of the character just draws me to him. Here is a guy who is slightly broken coming to terms with who he is and what he cares about. By volume 4 he has grown as a person and made huge progression as a character.

4Kids - This one is harder for me. There were so many characters that I liked what they did with them. But I think my favorite has to be Raph. Again kind of like Casey in Mirage I think he grew the most as a character in the show. Granted there is only so much growing an angry turtle can do but I think by the end he was a better person.

IDW- Old Hob, was there any question?
