Technodrome Fantasy Football anybody?

Does anybody here play fantasy football? I'd like to start a FREE league with 10-12 people from here. We'd be playing for the fun of it so if you've never played before that's ok. The only thing I'd ask is that you stay active and don't abandon your team during the season (that ruins the fun for the people still playing). I'd create the league on Yahoo so you would have to have a Yahoo ID to play. I hope there's some interest. Reply here or send me a PM if you're interested. If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them for you. :D

Once I see if we can get enough people to fill the league, we can discuss scoring rules and a draft time.

Can I make a prize suggestion?

If you have 10-12 people enter, have each person chip in say anywhere between $1 and $5, then at the end, do this:

1st Place: Nick or Classics figure, or a vehicle
2nd Place: Nick figure

Or if you just have everyone chip in just $1, only first place can win a Nick figure of their choice.

I'm totally willing to chip in whatever, anything up to $5. I like the idea, and it's a nice incentive (seeing how we're TURTLES fans, right).

I'm definitely interested & will remain active throughout the season even if I'm not doing good. I usually try to join 2 or 3 leagues a year.

I didn't think of that. But I think at least $1 would be feasible, right? I would donate more if there would be a prize for the top 3 finishers, but unless anyone steps up, I guess I'm alone in that.

You know what, scratch the prize idea (if no one wants to do it). I'll create a league, too, and make it a prize league. If you want to do one, too, I'm all in. And either way, I'm still playing in yours.

So, if anyone ALSO wants to join mine, just go to my thread in this section. Don't come join mine and leave Green Machine's. That's not what I'm wanting. I'm not trying to step on any toes.

You know what? I think I might have stepped on your toes a little bit by coming in here and trying to incorporate prizes. If you want, keep your league completely free and for fun, and if anyone in this group wants to join my league where you can win TMNT figures/vehicles, click the link in my signature. Or just PM me.

I've already got three members, one potential member, and want to have up to 20 so we can have better prizes.

We're still only at 6 our of 10. Four people that said they wanted to play haven't signed up on the site yet. I'm not sure who's who so I'm going to send out another PM to everybody. The draft was scheduled for this saturday. It might not happen now.

Sorry guys, but I cancelled the league. After multiple PMs we still only had half the league filled. I'm not going to keep bothering people to register. If someone doesn't sign up after a month, I doubt they'll be very active once the season starts anyway. There just wasn't enough interest.
