Holy s***, it's an ACTUAL comic?

Nickelodeon and Target are doing a contest, in which you read this digital comic, and come up with a video ending of your own with the new toys.

They mention something about a comic at SDCC, but I didn't think it was this one. I do want it, though.

Yup, they've got a printed version of the Target comic. People around the Nickelodeon booth are handing them out, and I think there are street teams with them too.

While it's in the upcoming animated universe, Tom wrote it. (and I edited it... I'm never editing another photo comic again, what a pain! Turned out nice though.)

aaaaaannnnnd the scalping begins. i swear the things people do to make a quick buck these days. i hate scalpers. especially the ones who get kevin to to do one of his free sketches on the blank comics and place it on ebay for $200+

that comic is pretty cool though. and that Target video was a pretty damn spectacular commercial.

I'm with you on this one. However, wait it out and be patient because the good news is that this will be just like last year's TMNT #1 Ashcan. If you remember, initially it was going for upwards of $25 after the show. Now you can get it raw for like $2.

Ha! The writing of that comic was so enjoyable that I didn't mind the entire thing was done with action figures. I have no time to put together a video of my own, but best of luck to those who enter the contest!

I can tell where Nick (if Tom was so directed?) is going with the personalities of the Turtles, and I have to say, I like it. I like how Donnie is actually thinking about chasing April, it shows an extraverted side of him that was only subtly hinted at in other incarnations. Leonardo also stands out as the educated, straight-laced leader.

Loving this direction!
