IDW inspired TMNT (nick mold)

If any of you guys have seen my work before, you know I like a bit of wear and tear...a little nitty gritty and dirt. I did the new IDW look.. I also am a huge fan of the all red team look... and to top it off, the new NICK TMNT ARE FANTASTIC MOLDS!! I switched the belts for the DON and LEO molds.. I like that better. Total repaints with washes and dry brushing...and a gloss on the parts that needed it.

BTW, if you are a turtle fan, BUY THIS SET!!

ohh..and the weapons pretty much repel paint! prep them good!

Another great job. Really like the grittiness of most of your designs, and love the blood detail on Raphael.

Yes! Very awesome! My second set is going to be all red, comic style repaints. You did a very nice job here.
I also like the subtle swaps you made with the parts. It's very cool to see Leo standing tall.

I almost wanna say maybe Mikey and Donnie need a head swap....I mean, I can see Mikey having Leo's big toothy grin and Donnie having Mikey's less toothy smile.

But aside from sculpt preference, nice re-paints.

i too love the new nick tmnt models... not one are the same. and this is a great repaint with the swapped parts. having leo the oldest... him being the tallest kinda makes sense i guess. but if you're looking for the idw look... their skin tones are a bit off. other than that... you're customs look awesome. especially the work you put into the spots on their skin. amazing work encline!

yeah man, playmates has hit some home runs this year! Yeah, skin is a bit off..but I was still trying to stick with the molds original color for joints and such... and thanks!

I plan on custom detail painting my Nick figures Mirage style, too. I think I'll forego the movie style spots and Leo-Don switch, though. Still, I can't deny that it's good work.
