New TMNT bios for all characters with new pictures of splinter, shredder and kraang

i can tell there are going to be many nods to the classic series, as in april's bio it says that she wants to be a reporter when she grows up, and in kraang's bio it says that he is from dimension x. Also, it appears that Raphael got his pet turtle spike by saving hm after someone flushed him down the toilet. :tlol:

Holy crap there are some interesting tidbits here:

- April wants to be a news reporter when she grows up

- The Foot Clan bio mentions Shredder has 4 Elite Guards like the 4kids series

- Kraang comes from Dimension X

- There may be a "leader" Krang after all.

I love the nods to the other shows. I'm glad they're throwing old school (and 2003 series) fans a bone, all the while giving us something new. I can't wait for this show. Thanks for posting!

As far as I remember from one of (I think) Rob Paulsen's podcasts, the Kraang sort of work as a hivemind and they're always finishing each other's sentences. Maybe that hive mind is the "himself" they speak of.

There's a bunch of errors and omitted things when it comes to the Japanese terminology on the profiles. I'm guessing referring to Kraang in the singular is a similar mistake.

The stuff on the file cards is old, because Playmates was making those a long time ago. It's the same reason that the Playmates Turtles have different feet, but the newest Leo has the "correct" feet.

I really think the show is just becoming more OT than they originally planned and/or were willing to reveal.

I've seen some of the incorrect terminology (like the incorrect use of Niten Ryu) on the official Nick website, so I can see that carrying over to the Playmates site. Other bits are just extremely common misspellings (Ninjitsu instead of Ninjutsu) or, for a show that uses a Ninja master for added authenticity in terms of martial arts and Ninja philosophy, things I would consider omissions (mentioning Bushido but never mentioning Ninpo) but aren't in any way going to kill the authenticity that I'm extremely glad they've brought into this show.

They're not a big deal, though. They're certainly showing some authenticity through some of the pictures seen on the profiles. That sort of thought going into this show in terms of martial arts and Ninja stealth skills is completely awesome! While I don't expect this show to actually teach kids to do authentic Edo period vengeance killing-style Innin or to educate kids on the contents of the Ninjutsu Gokui Hidensho (http://www.budovideos.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=25230), I've been excited ever since I heard a year ago that one of the head writers is actual a student of Ninpo.

What's wrong with it? It says April wants to be a reporter when she grows up. She's not a reporter now, but maybe if she ages throughout the show we might see it by Season 5 or something.

Also this is the first mention of Dimension X returning. We might actually see General Traag and the Rock Soldiers again. PLEASE.
