I used a 10 inch Galactic Scale Green Lantern Kilowog for the base. I sculpted the head, hand, chest, feet, straps and tail. The shell is an actual sea shell that I painted. Used Testors colors to paint him up. This was my first attempt at a custom figure so I thought I would post.

I like it. It looks good for your first time. A lot better then I could do. Do you have plans on making the other three turtles?

Like Old Hob said, very nice first go. And it would be cool to do more of the turtles in that style :D

Very nice, but your thread needs to be moved to the appropriate section of the forum.

not bad at all. great first attempt. an easy tip to instantly improve your work would be to use matte paint/sealer. i'm not sure if its the actual paint you used that gives it that gloss or maybe a sealer. at any rate, a matte finish will give it a more natural look. keep it up :)
Wow that is really cool. Would love to see you do the rest of em in that style. :)
