Kind of unrelated, but it's always been something worthy of mention that she has a glaringly Chinese name. I wonder how she would have come to be a part of the mostly Japanese Foot, in light of this. Of course, exactly zero continuities have paid any attention to this, and I'm sure that Eastman and Laird just went with something that sounded "Asian."

I never said it's wrong to speculate or debate over what might or might not be, nor is there anything wrong with a little nostalgia over what we've seen in the past. There has to be balance though between the two. I believe in living in the moment and appreciating what I have right now. It's okay to look back and forward, but in small doses.

"How long will the show last?" "Will the show be popular among fans of {INSERT PARTICULAR ITERATION}?" "How will the DVD releases be done?" The reason why there's so much speculation is we've only been shown brief previews here and there. We cannot discuss any full episodes or characters until the show debuts.

Okay did you even read my earlier post where I vented my frustrations with you?! I made it perfectly clear that it's your constant questions that bother me, not the speculation in general! Maybe if you worded your thread titles better, like "I'd like to see this happen." instead of "Does anybody know if this will happen?" I wouldn't get so annoyed. I honestly think you're a very insightful person, but sometimes you can get on my nerves. Don't take it personally though, because I've been told I have the same effect on other people.

The core of the origin has remained almost exactly the same over the years. The only differences have been Splinter's origin really.

The biggest change is probably IDW's reincarnation angle.

Thats why the Earthworm Jim forum on Doug TenNapel's website hasn't had a post since Aug 11th. Anyone who speculates or give an idea for the new game gets banned.
