Okay so now I want to know who the villain is in issue 15. Could it be Baxter himself, mutated by Krang for his failure? Are they bringing Leatherhead in as a villain? Or maybe it is Metalhead?

I have a feeling its whatever was on the cover of the April issue. Could be rat king.

I've wondered who or what that was on April's cover. I can't wait for April's and Casey's issues. This comic has constantly kept me looking forward to the next issue.

Indeed. It looks like they're taking care if the pacing problem too. Shorter stories and annuals and limiteds coming out. Should move a lot faster now.

Yeah. I wonder if we will have more minis of other characters, or if they will do a #2 for each of the characters.

20 bucks says it's Slash.

Cowabunga Carl

That would be interesting. It would be cool to see Slash though.

These look great. I'm shooting for the Rat King but who knows.

Well the arc is titled "Blood Brothers". That's the main thing that has me thinking Slash.

Cowabunga Carl

That makes since.

A darker more serious slash? That would be awesome. He might ne somehow related to them in this.

Cowabunga Carl
07-16-2012, 07:38 PM
How could you say that?!?! Honestly I don't care one way or another about him being related, I've never been upset about there being more turtles in the bowl. I just know a lot of people flip at the thought.

But yeah a more serious dark Slash would be fantastic.

corvus

It's called blood brothers. I'm just guessing. Also the solicitation seems like it'll have a big moral dilemma thing. I wouldn't hate slash being related or being a clone but it'd seem wrong. He's supposed to be a snapping turtle whereas the tmnt are red eared sliders.

Cowabunga Carl

Well this time around, the turtles are sea turtles. So anything is possible. The title Blood Brothers does suggest something along the lines of Slash, or maybe it is Tokka.

Woo-hoo! Big month for the Turtles!

corvus

Sea turtles. Where did that come from?

Cowabunga Carl
07-16-2012, 10:02 PM
If you look at the first issue, they have flippers. Only sea turtles have flippers.

Seems a bit early for Slash IMO.

Could be Leatherhead honestly.

Cowabunga Carl

It makes more sense with Slash though with the it being called Blood Brothers.

CyberCubed

Leatherhead could be considered their blood brother too.

Cowabunga Carl

I originally thought Leatherhead too but I don't know anymore. It's going to be great seeing who it turns out to be.

Yes, crocs and turtles come out of the same batch of eggs alllll the time.

Human beings had square heads too. They very well could have just not drawn little lines to represent toes. I'll wait for an official staff member to weigh in on this cause now I have to know.

Think about it, where would Leatherhead come from? He's usually accidentally mutated by the Utroms, but they may not be in this series.

We know Stockgen was experimenting with mutating animals, having them mutate an alligator wouldn't be surprising.

corvus

I hope leatherheads not a villaion in this version.

Another reason I'm thinking it's Slash: Check the cover. The Turtles are surrounded by crime scene tape, implying that they're "wanted". I would imagine Slash is mucking things up around the city and giving 5 foot tall turtles everywhere a bad name.

Could just be the "Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang!" :tlol:

I'm not gonna read too much into the title of the arc but Slash makes more sense to me than leatherhead. They were experimenting on smaller/safer animals; turtles, a cat, rat, fox. The turtles and Splinter got away so what do they do? Get another turtle! Or maybe a rat lol.

Stockgen never experimented on a cat or a fox... Hob was contaminated in the alley when the canister cracked... and Alopex was created (or at least implied that way) by the Foot. but you make great sense in trying to get another turtle though!

I always thought that the shadowed creature on the cover of the April Micro had the same facial structure as the Turtles. If that creature is going to wind up as the new threat, then I would bank on it being this Universes Slash as well
