Yes, it is a Japanese word and it can also mean beginning. But in martial arts it's a "command" to begin the training.

OMG!!!! Even the incoming messages. *squees* So awesome you shared with us. Splinter's words sound wonderful, he is such a wise man. I really like listening to his wisdoms as they can give you a lot.

The messages from Shredder actually ran a shiver down my spine, seriously. I'm sure some of his subordinates are quite intimidated when they hear his voice, unless they are really tough guys, of course, but wow. Love the ambition and coldness in his voice.
