Hm, sadly the Turtle Tip shorts don't seem to be included. Now our OT collection is only 98.9% complete.

Turtle Tips aren't important canon stories dude. Having all the episodes is enough for most of us.

No. That thread's about an announcement perpetually scheduled for later in the month.

I will look for this when it goes on clearance or if it comes down in value (around Christmas or so). It does make me cry though as it signaled the end of an era, and now a new one is about to officialy start. I'm looking forward to the animator interviews the most. It sad how nostalgic this season feels despite mentioning "Internet".

On the link the OP posted, the run time though is listed at 184 minutes, which would only account for eight episodes, which is obviously an error. I also presume that "Planet of the Turtleoids" is now considered one long episode rather than two separate ones given it was confirmed that this and Once Upon A Time Machine are going to be released.

CyberCubed

Uh they list 10 episodes:

Studio: Lionsgate Films
Release Type: Season Boxed Set
Release Date: 8/14/2012
Number of Discs: 1
Number of Episodes: 10
Running Time: 184 mins
Retail Price: $14.98 (US$)

Its obvious "Planet of the Turtleoids" is being counted as one episode...and the other is Once Upon a Time Machine.

Or at least I hope so. Could you imagine the backlash if they only include Part 1 of the Turtleoids episode somehow?

Not too far away, very exciting! Can't wait to have the series completed. Though I suppose it'll be bittersweet not getting to look forward to the next one... Unless of course we get a complete set, which I will totally buy.

Nah, my only fear is they include the "Planet of the Turtles" episode from Season 4 rather than the "Planet of the Turtleoids" episode of Season 5.

What was the episode title of the other Turtle planet ep from Season 4? Lionsgtae better not confuse the two.

And to further clear any doubt from Cubed's mind, James Harvey from Toonzone just got his hands on the set and has posted some caps of the back of the case (http://marvel.toonzone.net/specialfeatures/movies/turtlesforever/reviews/tmnt10back.jpg) and the menu. (http://marvel.toonzone.net/specialfeatures/movies/turtlesforever/reviews/tmnt10menu4.jpg) You'll notice that the bonus episodes are present on both, so yes, it's really happening. :D

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, which is totally possible, but I think though they are ninjas, their fighting style is more or less a sort of Kung-Fu. Well, maybe not in the cartoon so much, but elsewhere.

Got it today! Good to see some new special features produced for the series even if they're a little on the dull side. I guess that's the life of a storyboard artist. I suppose they felt there wasn't much left to be said about the series from a creative perspective.

I got mine yesterday and when I picked it up I surprisingly did have a moment where I realized that this was the last season of the show that I'll be buying on DVD. It was a little sad in a way but I was very happy with the fact that we did finally get all of the episodes, including the two missing episodes, on DVD! I also used the $5 off coupon on the DVD at Toys R Us so I got mine for under $8! Very nice icing on the cake. :tcool:
