Drives Me Crazy

In the late night streets of New York, we find the Turtle Shell Van driving along, skidding once in awhile. Was one of our heroes intoxicated? No. Inside the van, Ex-Cel Dude's behind the wheel while Don coaches him.

EX-CEL: How am I doing?
DON: Terrible. Why the switch from two to four wheels?
EX-CEL: My wife, upcoming baby. She didn't like the idea of a papoose.
DON: You gotta grow up. Maybe you should quit the heroics & music.

He slammed on the brakes. Then parallel parked in between two lampposts.

EX-CEL: Now you sound like Mallory.
DON: Look, I like the band & glad to be in it. Fans aren't going to like musical superheroes anymore. Besides, Dizzylodeon canned the concert.
EX-CEL: They didn't! Those who had ConnecTV weren't able to see it because of a feud they had with ByaCom.
DON: I forgot.
EX-CEL: Mikey's upset with me because I wouldn't take Dizzylodeon's offer to shoot the live action show. Now I gotta take a driver's exam to operate a car & motorcycle, as Josh Salazar of course.

Ex-Cel drove off back home to the lair.

At Salazar Studio, we find Josh in his bedroom, with his wife, relaxing. She's 7 months pregnant.

MALLORY: Can't wait to get this kid out!
JOSH: Me too. Soon we'll be a family.

Josh gets the remote & flips stations. He comes across Dizzylodeon channel & hears an announcement.

VOICEOVER: As part of we apologize week, we like to present this performance for ConnecTV viewers who missed out on this. Stay tuned for Ex-Cel Band in concert.

Mallory groaned, but watches anyway, seeing her husband rock & jazz. The middle of the concert featured a jazz jam with Ex-Cel playing his 175 guitar.

MALLORY: Can't believe you perform that song in public.
JOSH: I like that song, gives my guitar a workout.
MALLORY: You wrote that tune in your underwear.

The song continues & when Levar gets into a vibes solo, they show Ex-Cel chunking chords & facing Turtle Titan while he played the drums.

MALLORY: You spoil that reptile!
JOSH: He's my best non-human friend!
MALLORY: I still don't understand why you rejected Dizzylodeon's offer.
JOSH: I didn't wanna leave this place, New York...
MALLORY: Or Mikey & his reptile buds.

Josh turned off his own concert & they had a fight. Were they headed for divorce like the web-slinger? The feuding ended when they heard a thump on the roof.

Josh changed into his Ex-Cel outfit & went to investigate the noise on the roof. When he went up there, he couldn't believe it's Silver Sentry.

EX-CEL: You traveled 3,000 miles?
SS: Sorry I startled you. We need to talk.

So he invites him downstairs to the living room. Mallory saw him & thought it was a superhero convention.

MALLORY: What brings you here?
SS: Business. Mallory, Josh, I think it would be great if you moved to California. And I found a perfect place outside Santa Barbara.
JOSH: The soap opera?
SS: Don't be stupid.

Silver Sentry gets on the computer & goes to a website. He shows them a quaint mansion known as Grayson Manor.

MALLORY: Sounds fishy. Don't tell me there's a man cave underneath.
SS: Yes, once used back in 1966.
JOSH: Why would you come out to tell us this?
SS: Turtle Titan's Headbook page.
JOSH: Man he wants us to move to California.
MALLORY: He probably wants to live in the man cave while we live a normal life. I'm sold.
JOSH: But why would Mikey leave New York?

Ex-Cel Dude visited the TMNT lair & was tackled by Raph in his football uniform.

RAPH: You're not welcome here anymore!
EX-CEL: Not again?
RAPH: Yeah!

Raph & Ex-Cel started fighting each other as usual.

EX-CEL: MIKEY!!!
RAPH: Won't help. Like Donal Logue's series, he's grounded for life!

Ex-Cel saw that Mikey's bedroom was totally locked, so that he couldn't leave his bedroom. Splinter saw what was going on. He called for Leo to restrain Raph while Don placed our hero in a chair.

SPLINTER: So you're responible for this, untrusted friend.
EX-CEL: What?

Leo slapped him in the head!

SPLINTER: You let Michaelangelo slip away from your California concert to be more irresponsible.
EX-CEL: What did he do?
SPLINTER: Is what you did! When your drummer got hurt by Dizzylodeon & the fact that you were talking to AJ, he felt rejected, Michelle found him & they started having sex at her lair! Now she's pregnant!
RAPH: Mikey ain't ready to be a husband & daddy. So we locked him in. From now on, TMNT is a trio! You want your friend back, you have to get the keys from me!

Ex-Cel sharges @ Raph & starts beating him up. Then when he grabbed the keys, he unlocks his bedroom, letting Mikey out.

MIKEY: Who needs you!
EX-CEL: I do.
DON: Naturally.
EX-CEL: You & I are moving to California.
RAPH: You'll never survive.

When they left the lair, Mikey & Ex-Cel shoots the finger.

Months later outside Santa Barbara, Grayson Manor is occupied by the Salazars (Josh & Mallory wiht a kid yet to come). In their drive through is a convertible that Josh drives. Inside their study, there's a secret panel that opens an entrance where a pole's revealed. And like Batman, Ex-Cel Dude finally has a man cave with his motorcycles, band instruments & home for Mikey & Michelle (Soon to be married). Oh yes, Josh did negotiate with Dizzylodeon to have a live action series with him & Turtle Titan.
