I highly doubt they'll be retconing a lot of the minor 2K3 characters.

These characters were actually kind of fun and did appear a couple times. It could be interesting to see them again, maybe as schoolmates of April who get used by Shredder and the Kraang.

It kind of scares me that I agree with Mr. Turtle.

Oh boy, I get to use this twice in one day.

"Retroactive continuity (retcon for short) is the alteration of previously established facts in a fictional work."

Since Touch and Go have not been established in the Nick series, and the Nick series hasn't even started yet, there is no chance of a retcon at this point.

Okay, bad choice of words.
What I should have said was "I highly doubt they'll be using a lot of the minor 2K3 characters."

Since IDW used Angel out of the blue...

"Master Splinter says 'never say never!'" ;)

Wasn't that Justin Bebier who said that?

And what the heck is touch and go? i don't remember them!

Touch and Go were a pair of cyborg(?) mercenaries from Season 3 of 2k3 who would give each other a charge mid-battle in order to maintain their respective strength and speed. Michelangelo figured this weakness out and kept them separated long enough to beat them after they powered down. Their origins are never explained, not even showing how Hun first learned of and hired them. The way they talked was cute, too, referring to each other all politely and such.

Ex: "Am I late, Mr. Go?"
"Fashionably, Mr. Touch!"

I liked them. I thought they were a fun bad guy pair, and they're one (I count them as one character, if that makes sense) of the more obscure 4Kids characters I'd really like to see come back, though certainly not as teenagers. That doesn't seem to make sense to me. Hell, we don't even know if they're human.

In all honesty, I think it'd be much more fitting to bring Touch and Go back for the IDW series than the Nick show.

They were cyborgs?

You never get their backgrounds. All that is known really is that they charge each other and feed off that energy.

They were cyborgs?Er, yeah... sorta. That's the impression I got, anyway. My guess is that they're mostly human, but they had some kind of cybernetic enhancement that allows them to use their chargy powers. Or they're just robots who like doing jobs for money. Who knows?

They had glowing eyes and made electrical sounds when powering up and down, so I'm inclined to think cyborgs - humans with some mechanical upgrade to their systems.

^ i think they r human who have super powers.

Genesis

Just... magically have superpowers for no good reason? No, sir. I'd call foul if they tried that nonsense. I dislike the Silver Sentry and his ilk too much to not hate that sort of explanation. Nobody and Metalhead are fine by me, as far as superheroes in TMNT are concerned. Not that it matters.

or maybe they r saki's victims too. just like the avian n leatherhead.

Genesis

You do know that neither of those characters had much to do with the Shredder, right? The Avians were leftover servants of the underground ancients, and Leatherhead was only a "victim" of Bishop (and maybe Baxter). He's only related to the Shredder as much as anything on Earth that came in direct contact with the Utroms or ooze.

yes they r. they r exposed to the ooze.

From TMNTPedia http://tmnt.wikia.com/wiki/Avian

When the Y'Lyntians held domination over the Earth, they enslaved other humans. Those who were not suited for certain tasks were mutated by the power of the crystals. The Avians were among them and were given wings to left heavy loads and to keep dissident Y'Lyntians who tried to escape the island.

No mutagen there. Long before it ever came into existence.
