Where talk about supporting characters of the show.
We all know about Irma and like craving for companionship and striking resemblance to Jeanette Miller. And the jerka$$iness. And who _doesn't_ know April?
I was wondering about the one guy who hung out with Irma. I forgot his name for the life of me. He was the one who sang corny songs about the turtles and played the keyboard. And oddly enough he reminded me of a odd mix of Elvis Costello and Woody Allen.

According to the official character models sheet, April and Irma are both considered main characters. I agree with April since she appeared in almost every episode, but Irma appeared in a little less than half of all episodes. And Lance_Steele, that was Howie that hung out with Irma; honestly, he was a bit cheesy and some of his songs feel stuck in the '50s, though I do feel that his take on the TMNT theme song was decent and sounds like a decent '80s pop/rock-styled song, which was current enough at the time the show was released. I still think though that the wobbly nature of the clock on the time bomb in Name That Toon was cheesier still.

Am I the only one who finds Irma kind of cute? :trazz:
I mean, in 1987 her big glasses were a distinctive sign of nerdness, but now in 2012 the same glasses have become trendy! There's a colleague of mine at work who wears such glasses and she's very cute with them. Isn't it amazing how fashions can change your perception? :tlol:

When I was around 11(during the early 90's) I thought Irma was kinda cute then. To this day I don't get why she was still single. As i got older I developed a taste for brunettes... Yes i am married to one. Oddly enough Punky Brewster started that preference.

Lol! True.
As far as I'm concerned Zack, the so called 5th turtle wasn't all that bad. I mean yeah he was annoying at times but he wasn't there on the show 24/7. what gets me about him is that he was around 13 almost 14. He acted way younger. In "the great bouldini" he acted like a 7 year old when they asked about him dating his female friend. At his age a lot of guys are thinking about girls and such. Zack strikes me as a turtle geek than a normal fan. He has in some way helped the turtles out and even figured out where they lived. You can't say he was a horrible character. Just immature.

Well, I always hated when kids messed up with the heroes and villains. I never understood the thing about "identifying" with someone of my age in a cartoon, which seemed to be of big concern to the cartoon industry years ago (adding Robin to Batman The Animanted Series anyone?)... I always identified myself with the villain who wanted to conquer or destroy the world! :tlol:
I'm pretty sure we don't need a Zack in the new cartoons :trolleye:
I like Vernon a lot still today, good for comic relief as much as Burne. :trazz:

I guess the animators realized that too. That's why he was gone after season 5.
I identified with mikey as a kid.
He was the fun loving one and I always did like nunchucks.
Yeah, Maxi was my favourite dude on Soul Caliber for that same reason...
