dawwe's TMNT artwork

[dawwe]

I though I'd make a thread and post my TMNT fan art which there will hopefully be more of, if anybody wants it. And yes, posing it not my specialty.

These first ones are the newest and then I will post some older stuff and then even newer. Leo and Raph were inspired by the new IDW comic as you can probably tell.

And here's my redesign of April. This one is about 5 months old.

[Zany Orange Dude]

Awesome style dude!:tgrin:

[dawwe]

So I kinda had to make a Donatello so now we have all four of the turtles.

[cartoonistaaron]

Nice! Let's see some action poses!

[dawwe]

So here's another Mikey pic I just finished. No action pose here, no sir.

[Donnie.Shelldon]

Looking good ! nice work :D

[Eiko]

Wow very nice. :)

[Lethal Lullaby]

I really like these. They're awesome! Keep up the work. ;)

[pannoni1]

I don't know how that bo is going to fit into Don's shell as it is just so big. April, while she looks good, looks a bit odd with that yellow jacket only going down to around the navel. Otherwise, that's some nice work dude!

[Broc Longstaff]

LOVE these!

[dawwe]

Felt kinda bad for bumping but I thought that I should post some new artwork in this thread. Since I've been drawing TMNT characters alot recently. This is because I am working on my own take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so I will be posting a bunch of sketches and ideas for my version, I don't know if anything will come of this or if it would be a fan comic thing or if I just do an outline or something or maybe just notes and thoughts, we will see.

Cool! I like the yellow jumpsuit reference with April's jacket.

[TurtleTitan97]

Wow, this is seriously some nice stuff!:o

[DonatelloNinja82]

I really like these! You have done a great job!

[zkarlette]

You are really good! :D can't wait to see more of your work.

[BubblyShell22]

Wow. Awesome pics. You are really talented. Keep up the good work.

[Shark_Blade]

Very nicely done, good job! :)

[dawwe]

Here's something I did today. It's something really quick and pretty awful that I threw together in paint with a mouse to try to see what color I should go for. Now remember that this is just a small test and not anything even close to done so excuse the horribleness. Thought I don't really mind the basic pose and proportions.

http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/128/1/1/turtle_by_dawwe0-d64k4pz.png

[BubblyShell22]

Hey, that's not bad at all. Good job on it.

[dawwe]

Just finished this. Nothing special, just wanted to try it out. Scanning kinda ruined some parts.

[BubblyShell22]

Oooh, I really like those Turtle heads. So awesome.

[dawwe]

Thank you everybody. Here's some new stuff. And now I bring forth this update. Here's an updated Foot Ninja, a new Splinter and finally a take on Karai.

You are very talented! Great work!

[BubblyShell22]

Whoa. Love those pics, dawwe. Keep up the great work.

[zkarlette]

Wow that splinter it pretty good! I like the detail of the faces and hair.

[Blossombrooks]

Good stuff! I really like Splinter, he's like 2k3 and the Nick one combined. :tgrin:

[NiNi]

Hey, awesome artwork! :D

[Raven]

You've got a great style, I especially love the Karai piece.

[dawwe]

Thanks for the kind words everybody! I know it's been a while, but I will soon be posting more TMNT fan art again.

[Redeemer]

Pretty good drawings, good foundation on the Karia drawing actually my favorite, just need to place her breast a little lower, I believe it would make her look more proportional.

[raphmike]

wow that you did really good art pic. :)

[HotNunchuckFury]

Great work, would love to see more. I particularly like your Casey and April.

[dawwe]

Here are some new stuff, mostly some more refined sketches to find a look I like.

Very good, esp. the Yoshi and Saki art!

[dawwe]

Thanks! Well I guess I'm bringing this thread back from the dead now. I just wanted to say that I will be posting some new stuff in the near future.

[D Piddy 1982]

Very nice dawwe, very nice

[BuffoTheClown]

I like the shading on the muscles in your turtles. Wonderful stuff!

[dawwe]

Here are some more stuff I've been doing lately.

[Sabacooza]

Yeah, those are cool. The faces look really good. I think you got it down pretty good. Keep going though. You'll get even better. I like Pepperoni sitting on Raph's head or which ever turtle it is. It's cute.

[DestronMirage22]

I like your art. It's very good. :)

[dawwe]

Thanks. I made a little post-it Raphael so I thought I should post it.

[dawwe]

Haven't posted anything in a while so here's my latest turtle related picture. Also, I don't think the arm/hand can really bend like that but oh well. Sorry for the double post.

https://i.imgur.com/IFqTXGr.png

[RskimB]

Great style! You are talented

[dawwe]

Thanks! The first one is something I recently rushed together. It's kinda my take on a middle step between the Platinum Dunes movies and the earlier movies. What I think could work if they still don't want to go with something closer to the first movies. Or something like that. The second one is pretty much just me doing my normal Rapahel. I guess people can probably tell who my favorite turtle is.

This is a comparison between 5 years and 5 monts, give or take. Granted one is "finished" drawing and the other is a colored sketch, but it's still fun to compare.

[dawwe]

Been a while so here's some TMNT related request and other TMNT drawings I've done. I do have some more that I might post later.

Looking good, dawwe!

Fishy April!

Original take on Bebop?

TMNT about to be purchased by Disney? RotFL!

[dawwe]

Thank you! All three of those were requested. The fishy April was of course from a 1987 episode, the Bebop was a prototype version from before his design was finalized and the Leo one was about Disney. Also, here's one I finished today! Also a sketch for I page I planned to do for the issue 3 remix but it doesn't seem like that will happen.
